C store overlap?

ok so I was in the tailor and Im picking options for my BO and Im seeing some of these token things next to them and I figured these had to be purchased. Then there was this list to choose form and some times I had one or two or even 3 of 3 of the options purchased. Some of them seem to have an overlap in some of the purchasable items. Am I right? Why do we have an overlap? Its not like I purchased the nx bundle and then went out and got the individual options as well...

It's because some of the pieces are unlocked through multiple methods. You don't have to pay for the same piece multiple times.

For example, if someone purchased the TNG Series uniform, that unlocks the TNG Series badge for that uniform. Purchasing the Counselor's uniform also unlocks the TNG Series badge. Either method works independently, but they both give the same result (with the badge).

A more obvious case is the Enterprise pants. The pants are unlocked via the Enterprise Bundle, the Enterprise Uniform, or the Mirror Universe Enterprise Uniform.

You may ask "why would anyone buy the uniform sets without the bundle?" Because the uniform packs came out first, and Cryptic created the bundle (that included the uniform sets) later on. Those who already had one or two would obviously not want to purchase the whole bundle, since that would be a waste.

it's just the way the packages are handled, by purchasing the bundle, it unlocked the bundle as well as the individual packs

Actually the two enterprise uniform packs came out at exactly the same time as the bundle.
