I used to play Pokemon GO. Got real bored of it really fast with the constant cash grab, even though I was using Google Opinion earned cash. The addition of legendary raids took that further. You can only get one free raid pass a day, which is only good for one raid. If you want to run more than one raid and you almost always do. They cost $1 each!
Lack of stuff in the area where I live was a huge deterrent from the onset. Couple that with mega battery drain and it was flat out no.
Mega battery drain is an under statement! That thing kills my Nexus 6P in a few hours easily where it normally makes it through a whole day with ease. I have met people that literally walk around playing that carry multiple battery packs to keep their phone going so they can play. It seems excessive that a game needs about 30,000mAh to play for about 8 hours.
As much as I normally prefer phones with a slightly larger battery than the LG V30, I am going to pick one up anyway. The stock feel to the device isn't so bad and the battery life is decent for what is in there. Actually better than my 6P and Nexus 6 with similar size batteries. Moderate use seems to get most reviewers about an 18 hour day before it needs a charge under moderate use. Close to 6 hours screen on time in total if that helps give everyone a better idea of how long it lasts.

For the last couple of days, there has been an approximately 2 year old baby moose running around the streets of Markham. It has yet to be found by police, which is probably a good thing. Hopefully it finds its way out of the city unharmed.
