Tires aren't the problem. It's the people that see a snowflake and all of a sudden realize that they never should have had a drivers license in the first place. :P

I think we just flat out skipped fall here. Went from town thinks its summer to town flipped a switch to winter.
Happy Sunday, everyone! I don't see winter anywhere. No snow, most trees still have leaves, and it isn't below freezing out. The leaves have changed to fall colors. Isn't that a sign that fall has arrived? I hablven't been able to find any maple cookies yet. Those are a sure sign of fall.

I haven't seen any of the big maple syrup displays either in stores. The maple syrup I like seems to be almost impossible to find now. )=

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, chile powder and salt in a large bowl. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 4 to 6 minutes per side.
Happy National Pickle Day, everyone! Pickles are not cookies but they still taste good. Especially the extra garlicy crunchy pickles.

The only ranch I like is Hidden Valley Ranch. Montana's has a pretty good ranch dip though for their deepfried pickles.

I can sleep on a plane or bus and be fine going one way, but comimg back from a 13 hour time change. Sheemoney.
Time zone changes don't really bother me all too much. When I go over to England, the 5 hour difference is easy to adapt to simply from taking an early flight. Arriving there in the day after departing at 4AM makes for a regular day for the most part. Even when going out to the west coast, the day just seems to feel a little longer due to the time going back a few hours. Yet that stupid Daylight Saving Time throws me off because I end up waking up way earlier than I need to. :P
There's nothing like a 3:10AM fire alarm to ruin a nights sleep.

Not really. It just means you need to stay awake a bit longer when you arrive. Then again, I always plan my flights to arrive in the morning or early afternoon.
That's a little harder to do when you don't have control over the times. Flying out early morning from Narita airport in Tokoyo would be a logistic nightmare because of rush hour. Wasn't much better getting back into my local airport around 11:30 PM local though.
