C-Store Idea

I feel it would be cool if there were a C-Store Discount for items that were attained in game Via Emblems. I.E. I work and earn the Retrofit Defiant in game, and then to unlock it for all of my accounts I get a 25% discount on the purchase of the C-Store Item.

HAHA ... no. Good idea but will never happen. They won't even give the lifetimers a discount from the store. I think they should get rid of the entire store to begin with but that how they make the extra money. Sad since I think eventually it will lead to this game going F2P.

I think many players would be Happy, Agreeable or what ever if there was an option to Buy Additional Cargo Bay Tabs, or Bank Tabs. It could work similarly to the Extra Character and Ship Slots that are there now. If we were out on extended Mission Runs, we could just open Cargo, and Load a Blank Tab which would then become the Active Receiver of Goods that were Tractor Beamed in.

Why should they give people a dicount just becuase they picked another payment method in the first place???????

The C-Store wont go away. As much as I hate it, and as much as I hate it that it feels like there is more c-store content then normal content, and as much as I hate that C-Store limits option for general gameplay (the fact that most uniforms cant be fleet-uniforms just because they come from c-store is just one example), we will simply have to live with that thing...

I personally think, as a Life Time Member, that we shouldn't get discounts just because of that. But I think earning something in game, going through the grind, would be more palatable if there was a chance to unlock something Account Wide. Earning the item in game is not the same item as the C-Store like it is advertised, unless it unlocks it for all accounts. If it doesn't unlock it for all accounts, then I think a discount would be nice because we already earned it for one character, we do not NEED to buy it for them, so the discount would simply be taking into account that one toon has the item already.

Another alternative would be to allow us to be able to achieve Tokens for single purchases on the C-store. Make it harder to get, 1000 Emblems = 1 C-Store Item Token, but then we can use the Token to get the unlock for all accounts. That would help players who have more than 1 toon not have to feel like they have to purchase C-Store items to avoid slogging through a redundant grind 2, 3, or more times. Soon there is supposed to be unlimited content through the addition of the foundry which will make redundant grinds that much more apparent.

All of this post is Moot if it already unlocks an item for all accounts. I am only at 60 Emblems working my way to 500.

This is actually I pretty good compromise I think. As it stands, the 500 emblems is for one character. This is also only for the ships and MVAM console. 500 emblems is crazy, but what is simply silly is that it is not account wide.

Additional bank tabs shouldn't be a C-Store item since Champions Online has them for in-game currency, and in STO we can buy additional fleet bank tabs for in-game currency, as well. Go here to join the More Bank Space movement (which included cargo bays).

Many People are asking for Bank Options that allow access between Characters, so that Items Bound to one Toon can be easily Transferred to another Toon. That should be a C-Store Option IMHO, not simply a Freeby.

Lifetimers already get a "discount" by not having to pay a monthly fee after a given amount of time.
