Hi there,
I was a tad too lazy to look up and see if a similar topic had been done (feel free to link if so), but I was thinking a tad on the points we purchase from the C-store itself.
Now, some players like myself purchase something, say, months ago and eventually we end up never using the item. Now, personally that kind of sucks, as I've just wasted my (now Atari) points towards something I actually might use and wanted more.
In my case, I purchased a few Klingon bridges and ship exteriors that, well I never use because I don't play KDF. (Was just supporting the game at the time.)
But, my point to this post is, is there someway Cryptic could begin a way to have de-selectable C-store items after you've purchased them?
1.) Just a point refund, not money here.
2.) Can only be used say, once a month for instance?
3.) Might not even refund the full point amount if the time isn't an issue. (say at a 2 to 1 ratio or something?)
I'm not familiar with the coding, bit I'm sure once something is removed from a players item-base it can be replaced with something 'default' (in place of a ship skin or bridge) or even defaulted for a uniform. An item, say a weapon, could simply be removed, and in the rare case of a purchased species, well...that might be a no go, since it sounds like it would be horrible to code that.
That's basically it: Can we get the C-Store to offer 'redactions' in certain cases? I'm just saying this for the players who pershaps sometimes can't afford the thing they had really been waiting for, and don't have much use for some of the things they bought in the past anymore.

And no business really does this.
