You can buy it from the C-store.

That is the TOS uniform. It has 'sew-on' badges that can only be worn on that one shirt. Also, ranks are displayed by 'zig-zags' on the sleeves.

You can't. That is the JJ Uniform that Paramount won't let people have. They can only be used on NPC's.

Same with the JJ Ships, Interiors, and Props. :(

I wish Paramount would give the rights. (And maybe the rights from Galaxy Quest:D )

No, you cannot. That(in the OP) is the uniform from the 2009 movie.

Uniform textures from the new Trek movie found their way into the game during development. However, they were locked out due to licensing restrictions.

For a while they appeared on random NPCs in the Treasure Trading Station. But I'm sure since those pics were taken they've been well and truly expunged.

Actually the JJUnis have little starfleet delts giving them their texture, the op pics have diamonds giving it its texture leaving me to thinks its a graphicsettings thing.

you can't. It's a leftover texture from before the rights were sorted out. Some ancient thread had a dev response about it, but I'm not searching for it.

Sorry, but the uniforms in the OP are in fact the JJ uniforms. Note the line that connects the neck to under the arms. That is not on the normal TOS uniforms, just the JJ uniforms.

    1) Also the design of the neck to arms

    2) How could you tell those were diamonds from such a low res pic

    3) I'm pretty sure the Dev's said that was indeed what it was and they were banned from using it (its probably that sitting there and making each individual one a Delta would have been pointless since it would indistinguishable anyway and creates the same effect)

/nod Not to mention you can see the texture just by looking at the picture.

Yeah, I didn't know about the JJ textures being in game, please feel free to ignore my failed correcting attempts.

Meh it's probably for the best seeing as the JJConnie is supposidly the size of a Galaxy putting it into the T4-T5 range, would likly be a cruiser seeing as thats where the Prime Universe versions are, would use cannons based on it pew-pewing, and have the turn rate of an escort. That would probably cause PVPers to scream bloody murder and I could blame them seeing as that's not something that can be easily balanced at T5 and remain true to the film.

Still would be fun to use in game if they could fix the issues with it.

Well, on screen evidence disagrees with the assertion its the size of a Galaxy.

Actually, I thought it had relatively slow turning, more in line with the Galaxy. When they pull away from the dock and when they dip under the saucer.

I'd love to see the phaser and the shuttles in game though. And the bridge. :)

    Scroll to size controversy.

Also, Cryptic has also made a model of that Constitution. It is also not available to us and not used by any NPC's within the game.

Actually it was seen in one of the early videos for the game Nagus. I remember it. Might be on yotube.

The only video that had a ship that looked remotely like theJJ-prise was the Klingon trailer:

However, on close examination you can see key differences between the two, specifically the nacelles. Also, that is not in game footage so that doesnt mean Cryptic made a model of the JJ-prise.

I've read the article long ago.

Really, I think most shots support the smaller size. So, I'm going to go with the majority of on screen with that one. :)

Different nacelles, but the rest is right on, right down to how the torpedo tubes stick out of the neck.

They made the models, just can't use them same as the uniforms, the rights split came along late in production.

The problem comes from the tardis effect in the shuttlebay. Way too big on the inside.

I'd have to agree with Nagus on this one. It also overall is "thicker" and less streamlined.

The only evidence of it is in the Trailer where it was Pre-Rendered. And considering it was only a few months post JJ Trek, that may have just been a marketing decision.

Or a dig at the new movie (ha ha look at the JJ Trek die) like the wreckages of Perpetual ships.

I know what you mean, but I just discount that since only a few minutes later, the shuttlebay is far smaller.

I rank it along with the "Rascals B'Rel Birds of Prey" visual that doesn't fit the rest of the show.

Yes, those all look like the variations of the tier 2 TMP Connie and the 2 other types (can't recall the names off the top of my head, they are updated modern versions of the Connie from the Ships of the Line calender/book thing). No JJverse Enterprise as far as I saw.

Actually, no. Aside from the nacelles, the lower hull of the ship is much shorter than the JJ-prise, and the deflector dish on the ship in the video is interior rather than exterior like the JJ-prise. You can see both of the things I just mentioned at 40 secs into the video I linked to above. Compare with the actual JJ-prise here:

Just look at the neck an how far back it is, and the curves of the hull. I'm holding my JJprise that came with the dvd set and it's the same thing but for the nacelles.

It's similar but its stubby, thicker, different nacelles, different deflector, and less cruvy. But yes, the neck is the same.

It is modified a bit, but if you can't see it , stop the film on the side view an look at the neck placement and you'll see it is way more jjprise than tmprise

I dont disagree that it looks more JJprise than TMP. However, your earlier statement that aside from the nacelles it is "right on" is incorrect. Also, as previously stated that is not in game footage so a ship that kind of looks like the JJprise in a video is not proof Cryptic actually made that model, which is what I asked earlier.
