Did I miss something?
Shouldn't the Open Jacket be out today? Is it in the game but not one the c-store's website (possible, I haven't gotten in the game yet today)?
I was hoping to see the official image so I know whether to by Picard's open jacket.
Are we waiting?

It is scheduled to go out in our next update - sometime over the next 48 hrs.
Dstahl's post was made yesterday.

I usually do, but when I didn't see it on the first page I think I just assumed it hadn't been brought up yet. It's not a big deal, I've already admitted my mistake and moved on.
Well... they're in the C-Store now but definitely not what i expected. Picard's Jacket is even there but there's some horrible undershirt that looks nothing like the TNG shirt he had underneath that can't be changed. Definitely not a buy anymore because of this. That undershirt just destroys the look of the uniform.
That's what I thought based on the C-Store pics. I went to the tailor to check them out even more but there were no working options to change the undershirt (which shows up beige) to any other combination. Buyer beware!
Edit: I caved and bought them anyway. The undershirt options show up at the bottom of the upper body options so either I didn't notice them before or they have appeared since purchase. Much happier now.
Overall they're neat, but they did miss the mark just a little.
I get what they were trying to do. For the Picard Open Jacket these look great. Use the DS9 uniform and pick the right colors and they're spot on. The Picard open jacket was an alternate to the TNG uniforms, and its undershirt was grey with black striped shoulders and collar.
But they used the same undershirt for all of the uniforms, which looks odd.
The DS9/Voyager undershirt is one solid color. But when you do so with the new open uniform pack it looks wrong. Look at the closed versus open options. It doesn't even look like they're wearing the same shirt.
So because it's the same undershirt graphic it looks wrong on the later uniforms.
How can this be fixed?
Very very very simple. When you choose the the Open Jacket uniforms a second drop down already appears for the undershirt, but you can't choose anything but its default. So just make that drop down box have 3 options: Textured (like the picard shirt), Undershirt (like the plain Voy/DS9 shirt), and Zippered (like the plain zippered shirt seen in TNG movies and late DS9). Done and Done!

I'm glad I' not the only one who noticed those... disappointments! I really hope they take a good look at the images you possted and correct the undershirts for the various uniforms. On top of that, I would like to see Picard's vest alled as well, to say thanks for everyine having to wait for them to make the corrections to the unforms they completely got wrong thanks to the undershirt.
Agreed Deoin ...
They have a selection to pick the 'shirt' underneath a klingon's chest armor so why not do something similar for the Federation where you can pick between your undershirt types? Or for Cryptic's own 2409 uniforms a choice of shirt / no undershirt. It is odd that male officers always wear shirts under their jackets while female officers apparently never wear anything under their uniforms.
Not that I'm complaining about that last fact... just pointing it out.
In a related vein, why not show the KDF a little shirtless love, Cryptic?
Give them a version of their vest and chest armor uniforms without a shirt underneath. Before I get too many complaints, let me point out that this IS cannon as seen here.
I have to agree with the edits to the undershirts Cryptic should have known better by now. Star Trek fans have studied this stuff after all many of us make our own costumes. I do hope this is fixed in a patch.

I'm sure they will. They're pretty quick about these things now. As long as we complain they look into it (heck, remember the Uniform debacle a week or so ago).
Comments
It's most likely to be out tomorrow now that the patch is coming out tomorrow.

So if its sheduled for 24th to 26th, you can bet that it comes out on 26th

Such As
The TNG movie uniform is the same. Different shirt textures even though the canon is a flat shirt texture.
Right Here
