Based off a post in the Quest section, Squad mode will not open until 85 even if you do the solo quest at 75. Not sure this makes any sense since you get squad mode quests at 75 as well, but that's what people are saying in the quest section.

The standard change for the cub if you want him to hold ago is to change pierce for bash. Buy a forget scroll for 100k and remove pierce, then buy a bash scroll for 300k and learn it. Upgrades for bash will be at 1, 20, 40, 60, 80.
