That's not sad, that's cool! :) You can never be to old to play games (computer or otherwise). Everyone who thinks differently have a bit of growing up to do. ;)

I'm curious who sets the times. Is it the GM's? The PW-US director? The Beijing office? Maybe it's part of an overall business plan by the Beijing office to get the various PW versions (MY, US, EU and so on) to be in competition. Set the event times so that only a part of the user base can participate, and it will ensure…

Infrequentia, I can explain the covering and the lack of white color at least. ;) In asia, white is the color of death. Big nono for a wedding, except in Japan where the bride wears a white shift under her kimono to signify her separation from her family (symbolical death), because she will join her husband's family. Also,…

Yes, it does look alike. :) Thanks for looking into it Ruyuzaki. ^_^
-
Hah, looks like I didn't have my facts straight either. ;) Thanks for clearing that up, and for the links. Forgot the Japanese had their own version. Don't know why they banned Turkey. I'm a bit confused about the European versions though, because there's one here: http://www.perfectworld.gr/ and one here:…

You can. PW-US doesn't IP lock SA. The events won't be on a very good time slot from you perspective, but you can still play with no problem.
-
It's a typo. Notice how the last part of the mail address is different, yet similar? inc vs mc
-
Hehe, you're right, it does. ;) Hey, why not call up a tabloid and tell them you've seen Jesus in a video game? Odds are they'd buy the story if it was a slow news day. Seriously.
-
Good grief. Get your facts straight. As far as I know PW-US doesn't have an IP ban on any countries except those where PW already has servers, like China and Malaysia. In that sense, the US version is just as international as the European one. (And the pricing discussion is for another thread.) In terms of catering to…

Sahrai is pretty much correct. To illustrate further what the GM's can and can't do, here's two quotes from a GM on the PW-MY forum:
-
Irbis is correct. PW is smoother to play than SL, but SL win hands down on the sheer amount of things you can do, including making your own stuff. No dancing either, either vertical or horizontal...

Hmm, well, you can't transfer the levels, stats and equipment, but you can transfer the looks if you saved them. Probably not what you wanted, but still. :)

I've seen quite a bit of talk about the Endgame. Isn't it how you get there, and enjoying the journey, that counts? Sorry, couldn't resist. :P
-
I thought the prices hadn't been finalized in the US, sorry , International version? They already did at least one price drop (not quite sure if it was overall or a specific item, can't afford anything either way).
-
I'm in full support for male WFs and female WBs too. Would be really cool. The male WFs would be perfect for trickster/rouge to the female seducer/rouge, and the female WB would be just as good tanks as the males, just look at RL female lions, tigers and wolves. ^_^ However, I have no problem to see how they can breed…

That would be a werebeast, no? Not exactly romantic, and very gory... *CHOMP* AAAAAAHH!
-
Maybe it was hijacked for a joyride? Yes yes, I know you can't do that, but it sounds plausible. :P
-
Nono, you're doing it all wrong. ;) Foxgirl lets the outfit slip off one shoulder, bats her eyelashes and smiles at the attacker. "Aw, do you really want to kill or neuter me? When we could have such... fun instead?" ((They should have a kama sutra combo, that'd be awesome. Opponent/partner is paralyzed from exhaustion…

On the one hand, you're thinking too much in internet timezone. Things like separate East/West coast server takes both time and money to set up. I think the admins wanted to fire up on 4 servers, 2 on the East coast, 2 on the West, but there wasn't time or money to do it. This is a very common occurrence in something…

Doesn't the Craftsman items (rings, necklaces and belts) use glue?

As a WF you can have two pets as the basic. With hay or a cage you can enlarge you pet bag so you can have more pets. As melala said though, you can only have one pet 'activated' for battle. You want to summon another, you must first stow the one you have active into the 'bag', then summon the one you want. Edit: That…

I think you misunderstood me. The golem armor isn't for the pet golem. My mistake for not being clear. It's armor enchanted with magic that enhance strength (or just looks cool if it's an outfit) worn by the player. Basically, it's the magical version of powered armor. ;) Yep, I've read Blade of the Immortal. Great manga.…

Not as much ignorance as slanted education. Because of the holocaust and the fascist ideology of the ****, the symbol is so loaded with negative overtones for the majority that western people doesn't get exposed to it in a normal manner, i.e. as a religious symbol. They/we know it's also a religious symbol, it's pointed…
-
Well, it doesn't have any **** symbols on it (the symbol on the armband for example, appears to be a horned skull, not the **** version of the manji/swastika). However, the overall design and colors are almost a carbon copy of one of the uniforms the SS used. Maybe it's because the swastika/manji is also a Buddhist symbol?
-
Nono, pink and purple BDU's is the way to go! :P Oh, and golem armor.
-
Heh, looks like a developer just picked a black uniform he thought looked cool without knowing much history. Or it's some sort of ironic joke, like the name of the game (unless that is some kind of deep philosophical statement*). Probably looks pretty snazzy, but it will probably make people in Europe and the US a bit…
