For now I'm just playing in Windowed mode, hiding the taskbar and making the window fill up most of the screen, as it doesn't really bother me to see the window or a bit of my desktop. It would be nice if either Arc or Windows fixed the problem at some point though.

Okay, thanks. I'll probably start skipping it at some point, but I wanted to boost it at least some to help with surviving :) . Overall in games I tend to do as much solo as I can, so not getting killed a ton thanks to a lack of HP would be nice.
