mystic pets are mainly for DDIng, not tanking. devil can tank some things, but its not nearly as good at tanking compared to a herc, but its DPS is much higher then a herc. maybe a full +12 R9 mystic can reach herc status on devi tho. really depends on gear i guess. personally i never seen stats of a devil with a full rank…
