  • already tried that, also tried running the patcher directly. Same results, goes trough the the update process, doesn't returns any error messages, loads into the login screen of the game and when I try to log-in says the client version is too low, which by the way is 989 and the game is 1.5.5 build 2582. It even reports…
  • yes I did, I also checked that, and I played early last week. Other MMO (non-arc) works good. I'll try checking the registry tomorrow, see if I find anything wrong. What I found strange is that I get no error message, I would expect to see something like "no connection" if the update was blocked.
  • My case seems to be worse because no error message is given, as if the update is done successfully. A manual update would be welcome in these cases.
  • I did and apparently it's not that. To make sure nothing was just blocking the client, I turned off all security software: Microsoft Security Essentials, the firewall, the anti-virus. No luck, then I even un-installed the software completely, including manual uninstall that is needed to remove MSE completely. Same error…

The main issue I'm having is a big reduction of speed in the game, FPS, it was at 3 FPS, only got raised at 5 FPS when lowering the graphics settings. Before the last update my FPS was between 21…
  • I give up... used quite a lot of time on this .. My pc is ok, checked and re-checked, it has DirectX 9.0c, the missing .dll is on the 'elements' directory in the game directory where it says it looks for it.. (same result if I put it on system32, register, etc..) I have to think that the new update is made to support…
  • Just read trough this thread.. same trouble, here's what I have done so far: 1- update video card drivers from video card manufacturer: nvidia after the update, 'settings' says I do have DirectX 9.0c 2. Says it can't find the d3dx9_42.dll file 3. download D9 from microsoft website, installer won't work.. 4. Windows update…
