I am having the same problem.

I agree this will sort out the 4k HP people who constantly depend on others, that work for their gear, crab meat and charms, to pull them through everything. I love the new instances. Finally something decently hard to make everyone work together again.

I have downloaded update, turned off firewall and virus. Game will go to Start button lite up, and then when I click, it greys out and then everything goes poof. Game never starts. Verified files and all is ok. ----sigh----

I restored my pack.dll and game is working fine. When I log in my characters are gone. It acts like I starting for the first time. Please help.

Suddenly my antivirus removed pack.dll as well. Now my game is messed.

Damascenes are a real problem in this game and very frustrating, as they end up being guild drops and it's difficult to try to buy them on your own. They really need to fix this problem for all of us, who has spent a fortune reforging and then stuck with what we've got.

I did all of this already. Are you a gm? because it just says you are a user. Also, I wasn't born yesterday when it comes to game problems, this is a maintenance problem for some of us, and this is a blame the victim mentality :D

Tried that, tried reinstalling game twice. It is a problem since maintenance last night for some of us. Leave gms a message, maybe they will catch on at some point.

Read the bug report thread, there seems to be quite a few of us who are having this problem since maintenance. I can't stay in game anymore, if I do any action at all since maint. Always people blame the pc but why suddenly are some of us having this problem, seems like quite a concidence it is only since maint.
