Yeah, but if they don't have enough money for more than one weapon (or if they decide to invest in only one), the number of skills they can use is immediately quartered.

Honestly, about half the time, people will try to tell you what to do or try to call you a fail, even if they're the ones messing up. But this will happen no matter what class you're in, and it doesn't happen as often as these forums make it seem. Rolling a cleric is fun, especially if you get into the groove of gameplay,…

EEEEEEEHHHHHHxactly. I'm not going to start refining until lvl 75+. Before then, you'll be leveling too fast for those extreme + gears to matter.

WHAT THE HELL does necro mean? o.o

You make a good point. Not everyone takes this game with the same degree of focus/seriousness. But for the most part, people will try to succeed at a game, because otherwise they'll die all the time and get bored of the game, and leave it to go do something else.

I never said that some skills would be left unleveled. All I said that the leveling priorities would be reversed, so the attack skills would be maxed before the buffs/heals. And the vit build adds more survivability, which is good for an offensive cleric, especially since they would be more focused on attacks and less on…

Their useable skills depend on what weapon they have equipped, so what I say still stands.

Yep, having good friends is always helpful. b:laugh

I totally agree. I thought he was gonna talk about her using PHB instead of IH or some other performance-type fail. I've seen a lot of these talks in-game, where people call whatever class a fail because their every piece of gear doesnt have 4 slots filled with flawless jewels. That's just lame, because gear is a small…

Clerics do not have a limited number of skills. They have the most skills in the game. And an offensive cleric would just be one who levels their attack skills before their heal skills, instead of the usual heal/buff skills before attack skills. Also the build would be more VIT focused, since you're now leaning towards DD,…

Pffft, I agree with everything you said, BUT because DDs are squishy, they sometimes get one or two-shotted when they grab aggro, and this happens while the cleric is casting a heal, fast or otherwise (so 3 seconds may actually end up being a bit too long of an estimate for how fast a DD can die from grabbing aggro). And…

First: all the guards do not disappear if you kill one. Second, he was a lvl80 in a lvl51-59 dungeon, so yes, he could have done all that by himself.

Ha ha, you're really funny. I'm one of those clerics that takes things to heart, and really does try to keep EVERYONE healed (this may be a tragic flaw but eh *shrugs*). When you're a cleric it's like you're never right. You try to heal everyone, and the tank starts complaining. You try to DD a little, everyone complains.…

Ok, what is macroing? and NO ONE should go afk during TT. unless like the whole squad is in a safe place and you let them know.

OMG that was so hilarious! >.< I have a crazy story too, but this one tops it! Why are so many barbs so arrogant? They just expect to be healed with something like that going on?? and the doors to the other bosses are activated by killing the guards in front of their entrances, not necessarily killing the other bosses. So…

I totally agree guys. Some people are such noobs and all they think a cleric does is heal and rez. And sometimes its just straight-up impatience. People need to just relax and let the cleric come to where you are before spamming them with heal/rez requests. Especially in dungeouns, the cleric's priority is themselves, the…

I totally agree with this. But their attacks are not just "decent" clerics are very powerful if they are built/played right. They have the most skills (mag & phys attack, buff, debuff) so it is sometimes difficult to decide which skills to use in which order, at what time, etc. It can be argued that clerics are the most…
