Hmm.. well this is how I did mine. I downloaded the .zip file to my desktop > made a new folder > extract the files in the new folder > run the installer.

I'm not sure about this one but in my experience with other games not too long. Like I said, they're up for a certain reason, to figure out any in-game problems. Some games only go on CB for 2-3 weeks, most games I've played anyway, then takes a few weeks to patch the game then OB.

It depends on your reference, if you like the challenge, go PvP. If not then go PvE. You can always switch over between servers when OB comes, if you find the other less suited for you.

Closed Betas are originally to test the servers before they go Open Beta. In terms of reporing bugs and glitches and other problems in-game.
