If someone has problems with the temporary fix (like me with GeForce4 Mx400) then at the shaders select the fist one only the 1.1 shader. I can play now yuppye!

Got it! Try to select at the shaders menu the first one the 1.1 shader instead of max shader it helped me. Thanks for solution, this software rulez!b:laugh

I think it's just the book, because i have my onboard graphic card with 64MB memory, with no fancy 3D capabilities, no shaders or something like that, and the game works as before with my MX4 So actually i've downgraded my system a little:)

As i see in the game there are no fancy changes! Only the login screen's animation is to "heavy" for our graphic cards. Anyone tryed with the GeForce5 FX5200(or something from this level)?

All Nvidia Geforce4 MX users should try a newer version lets say one of the GeForce 5 FX series would be the cheep solution, or something similar from ATI i don't know.

I've got the problem solved it is because of our graphic adapter. I took out the Nvidia GeForce4 videocard and installed my onboar video adapter wich is a 64 MB S3 Unichrome blabla... and gues what? I've opened the book! I think it;s possible with other VGA cards to get the book open eith some other settings, don't know…
