    4 and half hour verifyin behind me and i think it will take 1 more hour and than i can say if verify helped me or not, i hope it will, othewrise only thing whats left is deletin game unles mods anounce maintence and try fix this game.

    This is by far not the first time this has happened, when the tide born expansion came out it was equally broken if I recall? But I digress, if this doesn't work I am out of ideas. Be really nice if they would give some answers

    almost done with verifyin but i must say verifyin downloaded me a bunch of misin content, 5 minuts left to end this thing.

    verification completed and results are still same, u see book, some music and that all.
    gues i will delete this game after good sleep

    well darthpanda16 tryed helpin us providin with links and tellin us to send tiket but as we noticed all nth help us and there is tons of ppl with same or simuliar problems.
    well am sure they r workin rly fast and rly hard with fixin our problems coz they r company who is atm loosin money coz most of us are payin customers who r not buyin they product atm coz of not bein able to play game.

    i verified, (it took 6 hours) rebooted, and still the same exact thing happens,
    anyone found a solution to this yet??

    Still same thing for me. When I control alt delete it says pwi isn't responding. I may just try the manual patch and if that doens't work. I'm done.

    i think also its on our video card and memroy
    this book thing wont open
    coz i tried it on my laptop it works and i can play pwi
    but the hell i cant plan in the office anymore QQ
    i think need to transfer work because of this QQ

    Wht is your PC config? harware op-sys
    i have:
    CPU 2800Mhz(celeron)
    RAM 1Gb (two dimms)
    Video GeForce4 (64Mb) I think this will be OUR problem)
    Sound card doesn't really matter i think
    HDDs doesn't matter i think got enough free space

    Windows XP SP3
    Latest drivers, latest upgrades.

    What do you have, let's find a clue!

    P.S. I have a home router (this may be important to)

    PLEASE RESPOND!

    yeah mine is:

    P4 3.0 GHZ
    Win XP sp 3
    1GB Ram
    (64Mb) VCard GeForce4 <<< this is the problem b:angry

    also if they will remove that book opening coz that a 3RD type
    our vcards are not capable handling that
    i wish GM will convert it to normal login procedure
    it will be good for us slow PCs out there..
    they Step-up the Graphics now compared to last patch b:angry

    hope they will fix the opening book issue b:sadb:sadb:sad

    I've got the problem solved it is because of our graphic adapter. I took out the Nvidia GeForce4 videocard and installed my onboar video adapter wich is a 64 MB S3 Unichrome blabla... and gues what? I've opened the book!

    I think it;s possible with other VGA cards to get the book open eith some other settings, don't know yet, but still working on it!

    Still no reply on my updated ticket. I'm going to try some of the suggested ui fixes for integrated graphics cards and see if that does anything.

    Your computer is at the low end of the minimum requirements, so running the game decently or at all will be a challenge.

    Your CPU and video chipset are back to about the 2003 time frame. You can try updating your video, mainboard, and CPU drivers, that might help.

    Please consider upgrading to a newer system made int he last 1-3 years with a modern nvidia or ATI/AMD video chipset.

    nice solution... buy a new pc so you can play our game lmao ** that pwi so glad i didnt spend cash on this game
