They usually pop up in the middle of maintenance. (That's been my experience for the few times I have needed a manual patch, so if anyone has more accurate info, that would be awesome.)

Honestly, at this point it doesn't matter. Maintenance is starting in 20 minutes and during that time is when the update is going to be patched in. Was the information we were given misleading? Yes. Considering how many times she's been asked for the manual patch so far, I would not be a bit surprised in the slightest if she did.

The event timer isn't working properly. The time zone that it should be set to is -8 hours from GMT. The time there, as of now, is only 8:31 pm.
