I know one. Of course, it's an alt of BM with full nirvana HA all +12, so other than hitting like a limp noodle it actually works. 50k soulforce pretty much beats anything.
-
Sensoid Emptiness at +5 it would be 987-1004 base attack. Mystics have good versatility, any weapon will work ok for them (I still prefer wands, lol, but it's not a huge thing). Aquadash won't get to ~1000 low end till +8. Average damage is the same between wand/glaive/pataka, the only differences are in top/bottom range.

There is still fun to be had. To some degree it depends on your ability to ignore stupid people (easy done by turning off world chat) and how attached you are to being competitive in PvP. It's totally possible to have a fun time playing casually. I'd recommend giving Dreamweaver a try, it seems like there are still a…

Also depends what you mean by "long time" and "consistent damage". +5 is pretty easy without orbs, +7 may be a stretch and might not really be worth it (not really gonna increase resale value proportionate to cost). Old but still useful guide: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=541751 As for consistent…

The population on all servers is declining, it's unlikely there will ever be a new one. Not sure why anyone would want to start on a new server anyway, there would still be hypers/packs/rep in the cash shop so it's not like anything would be better.

Very well said.

Lunar squad mode spawns random extra mobs. It's been like that for a long time (years.....). Nice to see a GM responding, even though it sorta showcases how GMs don't know much about the actual game play.
-
I think it's kinda funny (or sad, maybe) that people like to bring up the argument that it's the same game as PW-CN whenever PWI is modified to make it easier on cash players and harder on farmers. If that were true, then we wouldn't be able to hyper frost, buy r9 from the shop, etc. It's obvious they aren't the same game.…
-
A big part of it is that the game is old (relatively anyway). If you started 3 years ago, that was because it was new, and so there were thousands of people near the same levels. It's not realistic to expect a 4 year old game to have thousands of new players joining all the time to keep a steady flow through all the…

I had about 20 free slots open even after getting junk male fash and all the scarlet fruits and junk, also know several people who got only one gender (and the wrong one, at that) so it's either random or bugged. Anyway, I was hardly "crying", anyone who knows me knows I only have one fash set anyway and that's just cause…
-
Sure, make it permanent, but at least make the gender match the character instead of it being random...... 200+ quests completed and what did I get? A timed flyer, 0.1%exp and a set of male fashion which I can't even wear. Thanks PWI, this is about what I expect from you recently anyway.

Yeah, that's why I often have to reboot my computer during TW. 100+ people on one screen running around with their shinies firing off aoes all over the place = 1-5fps on CPU bound graphics.
-
I hope so. We don't really need more OP gear in game that's even easier to get (and still nothing to do with it besides one-shot lower geared players or "win" "events"). Too bad it's far easier to add gear to the database than to create game content to play using said gear.
-
There's nothing special about it, stupidity and trollery are everywhere, and usually low quality. Lots of people enjoy the game but find the management less enjoyable (to say the least). For many of us, the only reasons to stay are friends, faction, and tw.
-
As far as I know, there is no random chance to have them happen. Different levels of mobs drop different levels of wraith officers envelopes, which spawn wraith attacks in random towns within the level range on the envelope. The legion attacks in 1k and DW are spawned by an elite version of the wraith letter (too lazy to…

Awwwe, begging is so cute. (I didn't mean that r9 +12 sins aren't capable of doing high aoe damage, but a level 85 instance requiring a weapon costing around $1500 for a level 101+ character in a free-to-play game is just so funny that it's making my face hurt.) Just tell your barbs to use arma on hf and let you gather, if…
-
I think it's cute how some people use the argument that r9 +12 sins are good aoe DDs (hex, your solution is better, take the lowest geared sin, lol). I ran a bh wave 2 last night on my cleric with a couple friends and their factionmates, squad was: bm, 2 sins, 2 barbs and my cleric. No r9s. BM was our main aoe with +5 g15…

I don't see why even "rich people" would want to spend $1650 to +10 a full set of gear when it cost $660 a few months ago.....
-
Considering that g13 nirvana can't get most of the adds that the Radiant weapons have, for some classes they are a great deal. Until recently the cost of g13 nirvana was more like 170-190mil anyway....
-
That's basically how my faction does it too. Instead of giving credit toward mats we sell mats at about half the going rate to faction members, then divide that coin between everyone who participated based on the number of trials attended. Every 2 weeks mats are made available for sale and pay goes out for the last 2 weeks…

Thanks for saving me the trouble of typing this out. I thought it was common knowledge by now that pack prices are what drive gold prices, but I guess not.
-
Cash shoppers should be the ones complaining. This sale is a bigger kick in the nuts for them than it is for farmers. No matter who you are, or how you get your gold, it now costs more than twice the time/effort/money to outfit a character to endgame level. A very few people may pay it anyway, out of a feeling of peer…

I have a 5aps BM which I have invested approximately 1/4 as much into as I have into my psychic. My BM can solo regular nirvana (not efficiently, of course, but it is possible). My psychic cannot solo caster nirvana, at all. That should solve your little argument.
-
haha, one +10 orb for close to the cost of those other games that are about to come out...... hmmmm.... wonder where I'll be spending my money......
-
Didn't you know? All threads on the Dreamweaver forums must turn into this debate within 5 pages. It in the server bylaws somewhere. ;p

~130 million exp in about 2 months would still put you at approximately 40 months to go from 103 to 105. I've explained this in other threads, too bored of the topic to go into it here much. Throw in some PV runs or FCs every day (adding at least 1 extra hour required playing time per day) if you'd like, and you're still…
-
PWE, here's my business tip of the day: stop making these compromised, far too late fixes for problems in your game. The fix for the dragoon glitch was too late and poorly thought out. Reducing the amount of exp they give to an insignificant amount does effectively stop people abusing the glitch, but the fact that it took…

I no longer care either way. If they bring back decent priced "sales" I'll refine my gear. If not, I won't. Simple. With the 6 month TW reset effectively removing 90% of my motivation to improve my gear, it's easy not to care one way or the other.
-
The TW reset originally bothered me, being in the "#1" faction. Getting attacked by 3 or more factions at once was a type of fun I never expect to have again in PWI, and I miss it, but there is an upside. I don't feel nearly the pressure to gear up that I did before. Before the reset policy, I was trying to decide how many…

Words like "cast" and "forge", in this context, are leftovers from the time when MMOs were based on RPGs, and not just 3-d chat rooms with a casino feature. Imagine a Dwarf so old and bent that time itself has forgotten his age, standing in the glow of a blazing "forge", "casting" hot iron into weapons and armor to battle…
