I've had this problem before. A customized resolution was causing bug reports after character selection. I set it to a Windowed Resolution of 1024x768 (anything smaller than your desktop). Start launcher. Click Graphics Button. Set Resolution to a standard setting (1024x768). Good Luck!

Prepare for alot of flames. Your 2 str, 3 dex per level not a really good idea for an assassin. You only need 1 str per level to use light armor. Pure dex builds are 1 str, 4 dex per level.
