Very awesome - thank you for posting this. I personally already know the basic little techniques (resizing, adding borders, etc.), but for the sake of people who don't really know the basics, this is very helpful. :)

@ TheGoliath: You get a 0/5 for the sheer unnecessary rudeness I've seen you display here. Some of your criticism is outright silly. If I read correctly, you rated one person low because of the character's name. This thread is about rating the APPEARANCE of characters.

Thank you for posting this! I've been playing around with learning how to make my own signatures for my characters, and this will really help me get some better shots to use. Plus, I need to post some updated shots of my characters.
