At the level you are, you might be able to do fb19 by yourself, still getting a squad ain't a bad idea. You don't want those mobs to ambush you...

I don't know if you actually need to contact Yeh for higher DQs, but i remember you can select any DQ from the corresponding Dragon Quest Director. For example, if you are a Blademaster/Wizard, you can select any DQ from the Director at Inn of the Eagle (South of Etherblade), starting from the level 20 Chiu Niu.
