Dragon Questing!

Hi there,

Long time user and lurker. Yes, I know there's a search button. Yes, I have searched this thread for an answer. No, I haven't found anything pertaining to my question. Yes, I actually can spell.

So here's my deal: I'm level 56. I want to start dragon questing. I haven't done any of them before. However, whenever I talk to the npc, there's nothing. No quests available.

So my question is this: how do I dragon quest? Do I have to wait until the next one comes available (i.e. level 61?), or is there some way to back track? I was always under the impression that DQs were like FB runs: you got them every ten levels starting at level 19, but you don't necessarily have to do them at that level (I did my first fb run at level 21).

Thanks for reading.

I'm pretty sure there is an introductory DQ to get the whole process started. If memory serves, Mr. Yeh in Arch is the first person to talk to. He should be on one of the bridges in the center.

I don't know if you actually need to contact Yeh for higher DQs, but i remember you can select any DQ from the corresponding Dragon Quest Director. For example, if you are a Blademaster/Wizard, you can select any DQ from the Director at Inn of the Eagle (South of Etherblade), starting from the level 20 Chiu Niu.

This is correct. However, I needed to talk to Mr. Yeh first and do the first level 20 dq.

Right now as I type this, I'm in the middle of DQ51.
