  • Fixed for you. Full int before end-game high-refined equipment can be successfull, but only in pve (and such a wizard may be unwelcome in advanced pve parties due to extreme squishiness). In pvp, full int usually dies before dealing damage, so all this high matk is equal to 0.

  • The thing is, pure int build is end-game build. Wiz must get some pdef and some hp. After 9x, hp comes from good refinements, and pdef comes from expensive shards and correct equipment. Before it, pure int lacks pdef or hp 'cause refining to +5 or more is meaningless before 9x, and wiz must choose hp shards or def shards.…

  • Lolyeah, refine to +5 at 7X. I'm not THAT rich. Strange. It's cheaper to shard than to refine. Two 5g hp shards are +50 hp, +2 on lvl.8 arcane gear is only +34 but it is more expensive.   • Please, PLEASE, speak for yourself only. Wizards suck til 89 but only if pure mag. Just because pure mag build is meant for 9X with really good equipment. Vit wizard do not suck from level one. Dunno about LA, but it also must be much better than pure.

  • Most needed classes: barbs, clerics. I've played cleric, very interesting class: both healer/buffer and DD (not a strongest one but still dangerous). Archers are quite common, if you want something rare, roll a wizard.
  • This is pure mag build, also known as UberGimp build or EndGame build. With it, you'll suck hard all the way till 9X, 'cause this build requires very expencive equipment not generally avaiable till 9X. I'd recommend you to restat to LA build or pump some vit. (I'm vit build, >100 vit at 72 and i do not regret it at all.)

  • This is not proved yet. When i compared it on private server (both 85lvl, same cheap equipment), i did not noticed any significant difference; also, one 9X archer confirmed that his DPS is not higher that wizard's. Anyways, if you want best DPS in TT, both archers and wizards are screwed by any DD pet.

  • In general discussion i've posted SS of 90 veno with perfect wood attack shards, and it's only one example of highlvl noob that i've seen in pw. On 7X, good cleric hits hard. What's going to change on 90? Keep in mind that magick attack of cleric is equal to that of mage, and most skills are very similar.

  • Ashura and wand are almost equal in average damage but wand lacks spikes. Since ashura is much more expencive, i'd suggest you to go with wand and try to grab sakyamuni's light - best 70 weapon for a wiz.
