hmm so basicly its just number, the important thing is the xx% Damage Reduction? Lets say, increasing PDef from 7500 to 7600 would means nothing it the xx% not increased?

I would like to know about this too if someone can explain.. is the formula [Total Damage] - [Defense Number]; or [Total Damage] - [% Damage Reduction * Total Damage] ? or a mix of both? like a hidden formula like this: {[Total Damage] - [Defense Number]} - ([% Damage Reduction * {[Total Damage] - [Defense Number]}) ?
