Let me just say for the record...the only way an archer can kill an endgame BM is ZTP metal, and that's assuming the archer doesn't get interrupted, assuming mag marrow gets purged, assuming the BM has no pill/genie to use. If an archer somehow manages to do all that and still have a pill to ZTP with, that BM has sucked…

Card packs come from Merchant Sokka's purple quest. When you talk to him, he randomly gives 3 quests which are commonly pearl for blood, conch for vitae, etc. Occasionally one of the quest has a purple entry and it's exchange corals and pearls for A pack. Another one is conch and pearl for A pack.

Weapon damage only seems more insignificant because of the massive amount of stats we now get, but it increases with shards, refines, cards, and orns. The reason devs chose to increase spell damage by weapon damage is so they can balance spells in manageable increments, there is nothing wrong with that. Too bad nothing…

Endgame BMs can one shot R93 archers too if the archers don't have the best shards and cards. I would say G16 heavies can survive a hit or two but that's splitting hairs.

You can channel Take Aim in stealth, but a lot of skills are better for assassinating a crappy geared target.

So as long as archer is going to be backwater ranged debuffer, Sage is a much better idea. The increased chi gain lets you shoot those debuffs more often and the slightly increased range lets you do that from a safer distance. Stronger STA is nice too, and 5s ranged stun is really good. If you're going Sage and claiming the 25% increased weapon damage will cause spike damage to be in full force I would think one would spam Frenzy or EP instead.

I don't understand what you just tried to prove...2 classes, same pdef, except one has an extra buff, and the one with an extra buff took less damage...? A better predictor of how vulnerable SB will be at endgame against surprise sin buttsecks would be how well endgame psychics fare against sins right now.

Aim Low skill tip says Paralyze, most skills that do the same thing say Freeze. Yet Ice Prison also calls itself Freeze, as does Occult Ice. Primal Mighty Swing says Immobilize, so does Elimination. None of these really describe the new CC, so just call it the BS.

Before last expansion I was getting this too, maxed (lv 5) on some, lv 3 on freaking Soulprime. They should just make a forge so you can trade. Good thing we now have resource wars...and if you can't do it well...ouch.

Was hard back in the days with a wiz when he runs off and following him would aggro everything and its mother around it...
