seems that is you help him escape (as i did) you get something like 16k spirit. If you choose not to help him you get 30 (?) rep. or so I was told about the rep part but not sure actual number

yeah removes any desire for me to participate in future events knowing that I can just wait and spend 1/100th of the cash to get the item in CS a couple weeks later.
