No, my cleric (the one without the genie) is the one pursuing the manufacturing skills (which may still be a mistake, I don't know). My archer is avoiding the manufacturing. I'm not sure how I'll feed her genie later on, besides maybe going back home and making cheap items to decompose.

That's one thing I've been doing wrong. I need to use Plume Shield more.

Thanks for the replies on the venomancer. Pick up macro: d'oh! I try not to fight enemies up close with my venomancer, but every once in a while something sneaks up from behind while I'm concentrating on something else. My main concern is my archer though. I'm working on a cleric now. Now level 19. Like the archer, things…

Well that's true for me at least. I'm not very good at working with pets in games. My pet has annoying habit of parking on top of me, and a big pet can make it awkward for me to pick up items and click on enemies that are very close. I also find that I have to be extra careful about drawing aggro from enemies. I suspect…

I don't know, I'm having a hard time with the level 21 enemies in the level 20 quests with my level 20 archer. The knockback arrow moves the enemies back very temporarily, and the frost arrow still doesn't buy me enough time. I'm getting chewed up pretty badly. I'm probably doing something wrong. I'm also not fond of the…

?? It doesn't seem to charge anything for equipment that isn't damaged. Am I missing something?

Thanks, truekossy. Still, my general rule of thumb so far is: - If I can craft it, I can decompose it. - Otherwise, I probably can't decompose it. I don't seem to have much use for crafting weapons, jewelry and armor so far besides boosting my crafting skill and decomposing the results to feed my genie. But feeding my…

Hmm. I didn't think of that. That might explain the problems I was having decomposing several items. (I've been able to decompose recently crafted items okay.)

I just started playing this week, and I'm enjoying the game a lot. I currently don't plan to spend real money on the game. I have fun just doing the quests, and I have no interest in getting to higher levels if things bog down and I have to grind or spend a lot of cash. So... thanks to all the people who do spend a lot of…
