I am interested to see what quantifiable metrics you have to support the "people are quitting (two 't's in quitting)" claim that you want us to accept as fact. I mean other than anecdotal evidence (for example, "I saw three 'Joe Smith for President' signs on the way home. Ergo, Joe Smith is the favorite to win the…

Essential Sutra - provides only 15 seconds of 62% increase in flying speed. Has a 90 second cool down. It's a level 79 Psychic skill that cost over 1 million coins.

What's a "discoinnect" (sic)? Is this when you lose all your game coins? The rest of us experienced a "disconnect" instead.

Overall, the assassin class is tailor-made to appeal to the pariah's of any MMORPG: namely, young, immature males.

And here is my psychic http://s744.photobucket.com/albums/xx83/mjViking52/?action=view¤t=KayLinda.jpg

The Urban Dictionary is far removed from being a legit grammatical reference

Not just overused, but misused. See my signature.

You also have to take a look at the demograph that the Assassin class appeals to. By demograph, pick the player profile most likely to be fascinated with Assassin stealth, RPK, rude language, taunting, bragging, griefing and so forth. So are they: A) 25-35 year old young suburban mothers B) 40+ year long term hard core…

BTW, it is "LOSER" with one "O" not "LOOSER" with two "O"s. The former refers to a failure; the latter to someone with fewer restraints.

The stats, attributes, bonuses, shards, and so forth are very confusing at first. I am still trying to learn some of the added effects and detriments. Anyway, there are a few well written guides to Psychics available through this forum as well as some good threads. Anyway, let's talk about builds: What you will find is…

Can't access my character now, but from memory it's as follows: 105 points on Dexterity allotted from levels and +dexterity stats from some equipment. 15 points from Tales of Beauty tome. This gives 120 Dexterity points = 6% I have a ring with a 2% critical hit rate boost I have another ring with a 1% critical hit rate…

Several items have + dexterity points (rings and head gear come to mind). Also, you can craft tomes with dexterity points. This is in addition to using level points to raise. An elevated crit strike rate becomes even more appealing should you decide to go demon. I notice that several of the demon skills boost crit rate…

Sorry if this sounds like nit-picking but the Oldies battle with Nefarious on 6/13/2010 was around 15 minutes not 6. This doesn't change the outcome of the TW, but would at least show that it was a much more valiant effort than the 6 minute battle listed in the report.

And I don't understand the original statement or the reply: Original statement: "and all you trolls going vs me you all cat shop scammers hope you get banned" The words are in English, but they are just in jumbled order. Something about trolls and scammers is all I can make of it. Reply: "Fail troll is fail." -- Two…

Then I sincerely apologize. Written words don't show tone of voice so all I could go by is the all CAPS. This was mistakenly taken as sarcasm. Thought I was blindsided in the conversation when it was not meant to be.

I agree and disagree with several of the points here. This does not mean I think they are invalid. I agree with the heavy choice of citrine and garnet shards should your build be balanced between offense and defense or slanted towards defense. That is, if your character expects to get several melee strikes on them. I don't…

Well you better clue in Webster's Dictionary because fail still does not have an entry as an adjective!

First, this post was not directed at you. It was in reply to someone who felt frustrated with their Psychic. The OP thought the Psychic dies too easily and wanted to know what advantages there are to the class. So, I gave my input as to the advantages and ways to compensate for "squishiness". There is no "PROPER" way to…

IMO, you first have to think pf the Psychic as a different type of caster than a wizard or a cleric. The wizard has much more natural physical defenses, and, thus takes a physical beating better than a Psychic. First rule of a Psychic: Keep your distance from the mobs - Freeze them, slow them, stun them, push them back,…

After magic, I put a lot of points on dexterity. This has helped increase my critical hit rate to 11%. I put on just enough strength for armor and weapon requirements. Now that my critical strike rate is up, I put extra points on vitality. A lot of hit points, hit point & mana regeneration, and physical defense stats can…

This is not completely fool proof and is mostly meant as tongue in cheek, but here are some clues: "real girl" playing female character: -- Has more than one or two fashion items -- Fashion items have been dyed (even if it costs 19 dyes for each piece) and pieces match. -- Wears long flowing dresses a lot. -- More apt to…
-
.. and your evidence for this is what? I mean, solid irrefutable evidence not anecdotal evidence (such as "I know 3 people on my server that left the game last week, ergo, the game must be dying"). Otherwise, I take your comments as just a non-informed opinion presented as fact.

Public quest is an excellent place for xp and spirit from 60 to 80. Place well enough you can get ~50k xp and ~20k spirit per quest. Also, cube of fate on a lucky night gets you 300k xp and 70k spirit.

Some interesting points here. I am going to take this a little further. If I get this right then the following must be true: -- Good armor and weapons cannot be bought directly from the boutique. However, gold can be converted into game coin via the auction house. -- Those coins can then be used to buy armor and weapons…

Economic driving forces are no easier to pinpoint here than in the real world. IMO, it's not "people having too much money". If that was so, wanted commodities would become scarce as people snatch them up. Thus, the prices of the few remaining commodities would go through the roof. However, I still see plenty of these…

I also don't want this to come off as mean as it sounds .. but.... The boutique and cash shopping ARE part of the game not some foreign entity that snuck it's way in. It's how PWI stays in business! Whether you think it's fair or not, it's also part of the competition. Loyalty to a game is fine, but it does not pay the…

Here's a possible compromise: Make a Venomancer and tone down as many of the feminine curves as you can. Thin torso and hips and use a little bit wider mid range. Pick a short hairstyle. For fashion get the leather pants and shirt. Then make a male Assassin. They are already more feminine looking than the female toons in…

In total I am guessing about $400 since November (between my wife's and my toons) - so, it's $200 apiece. This was for the usual: good flying mount, expansion stones, and charms. Occasionally, refinement stones or mats for crafts (where I am short in one of the "X" number of oils, leather, etc..). Nothing to be ashamed of…

Only have had one bad BH so far (but haven't done that many). It was two weeks ago. As it goes, I get a PM from a level 40 Archer asking if I can help him with BH39. I am a 70+ Psychic and my wife is a 70+ Wizard. We talk to him for a bit and find out that he is a 14 yr old Japanese kid. He keeps apologizing for his bad…

Want to comment that this is the best and most mature reply to a post on the cash shop subject that I have seen (so far). I would like to add some comments and hopefully can have a small part of this poster's eloquence in doing so. Anyway, here goes. Businesses exist to make a profit. PWI is a business. With businesses…
