firstly, 1/.375 was 2.666666666666666, not .63, the .63 comes from the rounding midway through the problem (which one should avoid doing, in general)... nearest tenth would be 2.7 (rather than 2.6, if it were 2.63), nearest .05 would be 2.65 either way, or if its always rounding up, 2.7 again, but either way, its not 2.86…
