Aggro= How pissed the monster is at you... And generally unless you are: Tanking, saving the cleric/Tabber/Member; Stealing aggro is not something you want to do... and in conventional manner; The more damage you inflict, the more that monster wants to put you 6 feet under.

How about a self rez skill like in LOTR: The Third age? Cast it on yourself, lets say it lasts about 30 mins or an hour. Should you die with this time you will be automatically rezzed on the spot or near a safe zone with 0% Xp loss, 100% MP and HP. The skill is only applicable to you..no one else.
