Definitely your gear. Your belt is sufficient for now Imo, but I agree, get rid of the cape in favour of a pdef one, replace your rings with +pdef ones, refine your gear more for better HP. Honestly, when I first started soloing pavilions I found wood the easiest, if you know how to kite and you can sustain chi well enough…
