One of my faction? Eliminated b:chuckle

What I really want to know as a pole BM is if the R. Poison stacks with the basic & spark warrior poisons. I don't see why it wouldn't, just wondering if anybody had tried it yet.
-
b:chuckle I couldn't care less what her level is, but she really oughtn't beat up on us newbies, especially when we're just being humble :P And no, Will doesn't make you immune to sleep b:laugh

That worked! Thanks a bunch b:thanks

Bug in room 5 (counting red dots) - questgiver does not allow quest to be completed; ie, no options for the number you've counted. I teleported out. Anyone care to refund my celestone? b:thanks

correct. But I have this same problem and the manual patch isn't working either. I even tried reinstalling the game, to no avail. It gets stuck updating "console_cmd.txt" so I might copy that file from my fully patched version on another computer and see if that works. In the meantime, I'm open to other suggestions...…

...and my bedroom!!!

Ditto. Leap back is the cheapest for this but less likely to be successful... does anyone have any tips for judging the range of a spell?
-
That's good to know, and yes, I've seen personally what you mean about swords...they're lovely for 1v1 but the mobbing is awful/nonexistent. To clarify, what I mean is swords *or* polearms for a good start at lvl 29. Personally, I think every blade should consider axes as their second (if not first) choice.
-
I know what you're saying, but roar is very pricey, especially when you don't need an AoE stun...which I don't, 'cause I haven't reached mob-killing levels yet. And while I agree that stream strike is a waste of spirit if you're ignoring other stuff in the process, I wouldn't go with a…

Yeah, relax. Sword to axe is a bit of a leap, sure, but as a polearm blade I have the basic axe and sword skills - hey, stop staring, I had spare spirit and they come in handy sometimes. My points is, PW is generous enough that you don't need to rack your brains about "wasting" your hard earned gold and spirit on…

Polearm blade checking in ;) 1,2) Blademaster skills are versatile and very useful; we have a great DoT (two for the polearm blade at 29, and yes, they stack), stun, slow, what amounts to a blink ("leap"), sprint...can you ask for anything more? Yes, your low mp doesn't permit you to spam these, but PW will give you…

That being said, I do recall putting a lot more into VIT in the early levels, simply because all you're doing in 1v1 PvE *constantly*. Around lvl 25 I started balancing out to the standard build above, but that involved about 5 levels where I put everything into DEX and nothing into VIT or STR. This also goes to prove that…
-
As a polearm Warrior, I favour the 2.5 STR / 1.5 DEX / 1 VIT per level build noted above. This gives you the freedom to use swords and a bow should the fancy/occasion take you...I can also use an axe now and then for the sole purpose of stunning. Admittedly, the "PvE" build with additional VIT is very nice for outlasting…

That I didn't know, thanks :) PS - maybe you can answer my question in the pigments thread?
-
Correction: a spark uses chi, 100 to be precise. When you reach the "Harmony" level of Spiritual Cultivation, your chi bar gets a boost and you get to use spark skills which are generally available at lvl 29, which is when you get the cultivation quest.

Clarification: you cannot send *anything* between servers. The postbox lets you send things between characters on the same server, or to other players on that server.

Clicking on "Try Clothes" opens a sample window equivalent to the "Special" tab in your inventory, except it doesn't actually change it in game. You can drag items to either of these which you purchase in the cash shop (see Store > Item Mall above). These are essentially clothes which you can wear together with your armour…

thanks for this, very interesting. Recommend sticky.

Thank you for an excellent guide. I have a question (which has already been asked on this thread here, but not answered)...say you have an item of clothing which requires 6 bottles of dye; do you need 6 bottles of same colour dye, or 1 bottle of dye pigment/6 bottles of random dye?
