"Try Clothes" ?

I did some searches around here, skimmed a few of the stickies, but none of them seem to touch on this particular feature.

I only just started playing PW yesterday, mind, so I'm wondering if it's just level locked or something. There's a "try clothes" button a handful of places - player shops, player inspect panels, and in my own character inventory panel. This button .... doesn't seem to do anything and I can't seem to click anything or drag anything to actually try clothes on with it.

Am I missing something? Is this level locked, or boutique locked, or maybe just hasn't been fully implemented yet?

Help!

well, Celestial Destroyer/Zhu Xian has the Try on feature and since was made by the same company that made PW, I think there's a possibility that it'll be a feature in the future.

you can try out clothes, but you need the required lvl / gender. Each fashion item has a lvl requirement and it's ment for male or female. You can only try 'em on if you have both b:chuckle

Clicking on "Try Clothes" opens a sample window equivalent to the "Special" tab in your inventory, except it doesn't actually change it in game. You can drag items to either of these which you purchase in the cash shop (see Store > Item Mall above). These are essentially clothes which you can wear together with your armour and equipment, giving you an alternate (and generally more aesthetically satisfying) appearance. The "Try" interface is useful if you have bound clothing, or if you just don't want to change/wear something in public

You can use it on other players to see how their clothes look on you if you plan to buy them. Clothes are just too look nice so you might as well see if you look good in them before you spend your money on them.

It's already an implemented feature :)

When you click on the button, it should bring up a panel showing you in something called "fashion" or "special." At your level, it's only gonna show you in a default, nice-but-plain looking white outfit.

How it works: You click on the "try clothes" button and the panel showing your character in your default fashion opens (if it doesn't, try moving panels around a bit). From here, you can drag bits of clothing marked as "special" (not armors!) into corresponding slots (top, bottom, wrist, feet) on the panel showing you in your default clothing. Once a piece of clothing has been placed in the right spot, it will show your character wearing the article of clothing.

It's not level-locked, however, most "specials" have a level requirement, either 10, 20, or 30. If you are not at least the level of the special, you cannot equip it, nor try it on.

Not every player has a special, especially at lower levels, which may be why it seems to do nothing :)

Also, once you are able to equip specials or wish to wear your default one around because you hate the look of your armor, just click the little circle next to the "special" tab in your inventory panel.
