At lvl 7 you have to do a quest first... Something with sacred beast... After completing this quest you get a skill book. Take it to the pet skill trainer and choose option *tame pet*.

We do not have a low mag attack. It just depends on your build, With a mag/vit build your dmg will be lower. But im a mage veno and do crits around 13k sometimes even more.. You dont get the cub for its skill cuz its not a good agro skill. You get it for mag tanking..like TT. Has high hp and high mag def. Making it great for TT when you dont have a herc. (But only for the bosses..for other mobs inside I still use my magmite xD)

I think I give claw a try on my magmite. If I still get agro I just put the rest of the slots full with agro skills. And if that doesnt work...then..I dunno...invent a pet that can handle me!! b:chuckle

Max lvl they can be, so...lvl 4. But its just my build and gear, im pure mag, have some mag in my armor, refined my weapon...And do almost the same amount of dmg as an archer (non crit ofc) sort of DD veno xD
