This thread seems to have gone off topic (as always), but if anyone cares, I posted some real info gained from real tests in game in the thread linked to in the OP. Summary: having a 20 or greater level difference between highest and lowest level member causes a reduction in xp for all members.

The information on XP gain in the wiki is wrong, making all the scenarios you posted wrong.
