honestly i think endgame refining the **** outta your armor gives way more hp then a few more stat points ever will without gimping your dmg output to much. archer is meant for dmg, not tanking so pure dex is the way to go imo. in the end around lvl 100 youll get to that helmet requirement anyway.
-
yeah thats correct, even though im not demon barb btw. your tigerform skills are just not build for DDing like the human skills are so damage will never get quite on par with human form
-
you asked on a west coast server forum, one of the east coast servers have different and significantly better TW times for europeans

archer leveling guide 21 -> 40: do your quests b:laugh
-
i suggest trying it out on the ape boss in 2-2 & 2-3 b:laugh really, its much easier to see the difference in huge hits then in small hits.
-
i went sage, contrary to arravis and basically... i play on a pve server, and i dont pvp much & dont TW anyway, that basically rules out all the need and uses for demon imo. because contrary to what Arravis says, i do believe you cannot have enough defense and hp etc. if you go for a tank build barbarian. And besides, the…

playing around with an archer alt myself now, and i ran into the same problem kinda, i read different guides, and every guide varied slightly in skill advice. i suspect every adept archer you ask would give you different advice too. however, some things are obvious for a start: the buffs & passives (blazing arrow, wings of…

indeed, no sockets on the jewelry

you can look at the stats of the weapons at the TT forges in archosaur near general summer. however i strongly doubt its better then any of the TT70 bows dmg wise.
-
yeah you gotta look at the whole picture of what you want to do with your barb before chosing sage or demon. if you plan on pvping etc alot, and go in humanoid grinding its good to consider. however, if you have a tank build and go for tanking mostly, that whole demon beastial onslaught thing is relatively useless since…

not really... a barbs base hp is still way higher then any other class, plus you still have the self buffs you can lvl so that also goes for dmg, dex rules ranged dmg, so your base damage and crit will be more or less the same as archer, except you can buff yourself with strength of the titans. you cant use any attk skills…
-
humanoid is more expensive because you get hit harder, tend to spam skills more, so you will spend more on pots/charms/powders etc. tiger is a bit cheaper because you have more hp, more defense and you can cancel a mobs mag hit so you get even less damage, not to mention after 59 you can heal yourself with your own skill…

I made a buff/heal genie, the build i came up with so far is 20 vit, 80 dex and some 30ish mag on my genie now (its a 53/90 lucky points genie) some nice skills for barb are tree of protection (self heal) and solid shield (some kind of turtle skill) For the third slot you could try various other skills like stop bleeding…

what i personally do is alternate between those combos because the cooldown time of plumeshell is slightly higher then my kill time frost - hit - hit - knockback - hit till finished plumeshell - take aim - hit - hit (knockback) hit etc. Those are the 2 combos i use basically, the second one as often as possible regarding…

The only difference in damage between cleric and wizard comes with the higher lvl skills, skills like wield thunder and tempest have lower max dmg % then the wizard skills, the 2 base skills are more or less the same in dmg and channeling speed. Cleric has the same elemental (metal) mastery btw, so theres not much…

1: i never had any XS axes, but if you feel you lose too much hp id defenitely craft the polehammer mold, its a bit better in pve anyways (higher attk rate etc) 2: extra damage is extra damage... never tested it though 3: personally i dont think theyre worth it, but since you seem to be on a pvp server the violent triumph…
-
basically... those skills i mentioned earlyer will get you out of any potential tight spot with as little effort as possible. poison/burn/whatever mobs? purify. magic defense mobs? deal physical dmg. And offcourse you have the elemental skills, and you can really deal nice dmg if you use that to your advantage, but a…
-
the advantage is called versatility. plumeshot, plume barrier, ironheart, purify & the obvious cleric buffs to name a few skills that give you advantage over wizard.
-
my little archer is male, and so am i... Generally i dont play females in game... just because theres obnoxious ppl trying to hit on ya if you looks even remotely female.
-
gotta disappoint you there, only fb 19 gives a real useful weapon, most fbs item rewards are useless. only the fb 70s pants reward was somewhat nice.
-
and here goes a bump again b:pleased
-
id say tank TT runs to make money by selling the mats... however most lower lvl TTs are pretty much farmed out, and the mats arent worth that much anymore... however i think it still beats getting 80k/hour
-
id say just play whatever you like playing most... however i do get the idea that there are alot less barbs then there are clerics around.
-
cosmoforce can be done with around 10k hp or so, but you will need BB probably, since it can hit up to 8k dmg / hit without that. belial though, needs defenitely more, i wouldnt wanna try it with just 12k hp. and damn yeah darkrings.. you have low hp b:shocked i have over 14k in tigerform now, and although i have decent…
-
those 2 skills are defenitely a must... gotta love tree of protection for sure. for a pvp genie those skills are good yeah, especially anti bleed i guess. for pve though, there are a lot of skills, but i havent found any that impressed me yet... im trying the amplify skill now, see if that works in TT etc.
-
woa lots of wolves... im tiger though
-
im over 85 too... and i always grind in tigerform... lmao although now with tree of protection its actually ok to grind in humanoid since you can heal yourself. its a bit faster, but grinding in humanoid without a means to heal is gonna cost you a fortune in pots/charms which id rather spend on other things
-
Its fine starting out as an archer offcourse, just dont expect an easy life before your 30s or so... especially if you are new to the game. but i think the best idea is to play multiple classes for a little bit, to get a feel for them and then pick whichever you like :)
-
honestly, i wouldnt suggest starting off as an archer. i dont know how persistant or experienced in MMOs you are, but archers arent the easiest classes to start out with for sure, the other classes should be fine. (except wizard)

ive always wanted to know that! b:laugh
