Also, land mounts look infinantly cooler than flying mounts. Idk about you guys but I would rather show up on a giant snake that on a manta or a sword (or wings for winged elves). Plus, all land mounts are compatible with every race and class, as opposed to the flying mounts that are race/class-based.
