Wine 1.5.17 and Linux Mint 13 (Cinnamon edition) definitely work fine here, the only problem I had so far is that the game font now looks incredibly ugly. Rehdon

The latest update broke PWI for me too, the client crashed soon after launch. To have it start again under wine I installed Internet Explorer 7 and that seemed to work. I managed to install the patch just fine downloading it from the link posted on the forum, but now the game won't run anymore :( It starts loading but stops almost immediately and the window disappears. Actually switching from XUbuntu 11.10 to my old Ubuntu 10.10 install fixed the problem. Weird, since it didn't seem to be Wine- or graphics-related, but I won't complain too much :) Dex
