Strange (and nasty) auto-pathing problem

Hi all,
I've upgraded to Genesis on all of my computers (two desktop boxes and a laptop), patching wasn't ever a problem, but I'm facing this annoying problem on two (and just two!) of them: auto-pathing is not working anymore, every destination is wrong and will take my char very far from the correct location. For instance: if I click on Sumor Camp Elder my char starts running/flying towards a point just below Fortress of the Talon, and so on. ALL destinations seem to lead to wrong coords.

Unfortunately this means that the game is unplayable, unless I check elsewhere the correct location and move my char there, giving up to any form of auto-pathing.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? I searched on the forums but couldn't find anything.

Please tell me there's a solution, I already verified the installation to no avail ...

    My boy, the game is FAR from unplayable without auto path. It's prime use is to afk while doing WQ without reaching the edges of the map each time anyway. b:tired

    ...or watching tv while u fly halfway up the map...... christ I auto path just to cross Arch rofl. but no i dont' have a single problem with it....... reinstall, something might be screwed up (in just YOUR files).

    uhh nvm you verified.... any chance of that itself **** up ?

    @Yukkuri: I'm glad that you can do without auto-path, but since I usually do all of my quests you can imagine how having to manually look for coords on PWDB and then applying them inside the game for NPCs, mobs, locations etc. may make things difficult for me.

    @Alasan: I'm afraid that your suggestions about reinstalling might be the only way I can get rid of this problem :(
