Well, it's part of my siggy now.
-
That's the general idea. Timing is critical though, mess up and you might end up as a pancake.
-
Testing again.
-
Seal (from Throatcut) does one of 2 things to a monster. 1) makes monsters run away. 2) makes monster stand still.
-
You should be able to play tideborn either way.
-
And mats = money if you start from scratch.

I suppose Assassins and Psychics are only called "fail" on PvE servers. They're downright scary on PvP servers. Assassin's fuctions in Parties are as followed: Heavy DDer with double sparking, Melee boss tank aid with Rib Strike, Melee member support with Bloodpaint, Kiting Monster Killer, Amper, and exploding mob sealer.…

Well, the genie is enough to kill, that's all that matters. If there are 2-3 melee archer skills, I haven't seen them or they don't hurt enough for me to notice them. And mats = money if you start from scratch. You wouldn't understand until you fight a Psy with all equipment with MINIMUM of +5 refines b:sad.

Update: Fixed the mathematics, should be 100% accurate now. Also added some polishes.
-
Updated with minor description changes to Shadow Walk and Shadow Escape.
-
Updated with new Assassin upgrades.

Can't say I have the formula down 100%. Take Twin Strike for example. 9.8 to 67.8 is 58 67.8 to 132.8 is 65 132.8 to 283.8 is 72 So the growth is 7, but I can't figure out how to explain that in a math formula. Basically, it looks like an exponent, except instead of multiplication, it's addition. So, I can't really figure…

Pretty good, I like it. 4/5

It's not necessary to take down barbs as an Assassin, but if you can make their charm tick often it'd irritate them enough and it's a punishment worse than dying. This especially applies to the few barbs that have roughly 20,000 HP or above. Even if you have 3k HP and die from a barb, it's not much of a shame if you tick…

Finished the PvP section. Planning to add an Equipment section.
-
Updated some skills and added a small PvP section.

Damage optimization for PvE: Tested to be definite faster than "Normal Melee" with some Interval Gear. Requirements: 10 Twin Strike, 10 Slipstream, Up to Date Rib Strike, Up to date Earthen Rift Twin Strike > Slipstream > Twin Strike > Rib Strike > Twin Strike > Slip Stream > Twin Strike > Earthen Rift > Start Again.…

Well, there's a 50/50% chance you can leave stealth without any aggro if you use knife throw on the nearest monster. But that's at your own risk.
-
Alriiight, all the major formulas complete. Look forward to the next installment for Assassin Comparison.

Most people have hybrid/mixed focuses, the focuses are there for single track thinking. There's just too many variants and too heavily dependant on what you need, so it's best to weigh what appeals more to you.
-
Well, early on, it's weak since the damage is mostly based on your weapon attack. I can guarantee that it will be one of your strongest near endgame though. The damage also amplifies by quite a bit with spark eruption.
-
Puncture Wound is efficient in long battles only post 60. Which is why it's at the end of the combo. Shadow Walk leveling is mostly for people who are uncharmed, that and those that PvP without a charm seem to like the MP cost reduction. Wolf Emblem leveling would depend on priorities. At the moment, no monster I can think…

Made a few critical updates. Added a few notes with certain skills. Rebalanced Earthen Rift. Re-evaluated 2 spark skills. Found the mathematical formulas for Subsea Strike and Headhunt.
-
Basically you're just telling me that the modifier on Earthen Rift will overpower Melee attacks (400% and being an AoE move with a recast of 8 seconds). That last post just prioritized skilling, not go against it, just so you know.
-
That's amazing, a majority of my skills are already starting to reach 5k damage and I'm not even 60 yet. You're telling me your level 60 Assassin can hit 2.5k damage per normal hit, you've gotta be cheating somehow.
-
I guess that's PvE style thinker for you (not one to consider those from PvP servers). Oh well, you continue with your way of thinking and I'll continue with mine. It's already apparent that you chose to disregard all the qualities of an assassin and turn it into something bland and already done.
-
I suppose the real difference is the background we come from. Since I'm a methodical thinker and planner, I take all things into consideration. As hard as you want to ignore the fact, a sparked attack skill will always outdamage a sparked normal attack. While your strategy cannot be achieved pre-99, mine can be post-30.…
