I think the validity of this sale depends on the server. The Mirage orb, at 85 gold, is the exact same price as a Mirage orb would cost to make if you paid 105,000 per 1* (assuming you spent 25 gold for the ocean needed to craft it). That's two years ago. In this industry, that is a long time. In addition, 10 1* for .9 gold is still about 160k per 1* orb at gold prices on DW. Those same orbs can be had for 100k or less during a DF pack sale. Something that occurred 3 years, and at least as many major expansions ago does not apply to the current game.…

The new Packs are 88 gold for a reason. They have the lowest odds of getting luck tokens of any packs ever released. You have a 9% chance of getting something besides the 15 luck tokens.
