When you get disconnected or close the client by accident, You have to Force Log in than Force Log off the game, than uncheck that the regularly log in, than You will be able to play the game again, But once you get d/c or something do that.

Are you sure you are typing the password and the user information correct?

Do you have a firewall program which is blocking your internet ports.. and If you are lagging really bad then It would say that... But I don't see how that would affect the internet speed... Try turning off the Windows Vista built in firewall If you don't have one already and try to re download the torrent or the direct…

Sometimes downloading it makes the .zip file corrupts and it won't open, As of what you are saying, It won't open and will need to redownload the game client from the site again http://pwi.perfectworld.com/download Either Choose, Direct Download OR Torrent. Getting the game from a Alternative site doesn't always work…

Try to Manually Patch the game from the http://pwi.perfectworld.com/download click under Patch Updates, depending on which version You have, click the right one that applies to you. New Client, 1-52 - 52-124
