Actuallly the last answer ( at forum from Community Update - July (07-15-2014, 02:22 PM)) was this won't fix soon :/

    Hey all,
    ...

    Fashion Contest: ...

    PvP Tournament: ...

    PM's: ...

Forum Avatars: I know there is an issue with forum avatars not displaying or updating. This has been an ongoing issue that we've been trying to fix, however for some reason our database keeps deleting them. I've tried in the past to upload them myself manually, but it still does not work. I've let the appropriate people know, however it does not look like there is an immediate fix. I will update everyone once this is resolved.

    More to come.

This still isn't working. Are there any updates on it? Even a "sorry this won't ever be fixed" would be appreciated.

Methinks you're in the wrong topic. This is about the avatars posted with on the forum. b:chuckle

    No idea.

Though I bet part of the problem is the folks who made that customization for us are no longer around... and the new people probably don't have the first clue of where to go to start. You'd think they'd fix some of the more obvious things in the meantime to tide us over (Fox smiles and link colors, anyone) but seems like even that small of a fix is too much for them... or they were planning to abandon this forum after they switched us to Arc standard forums and the higher ups just want it kept under wraps or something.

Especially since changing link colors is like 8 bits in the css scripts.

Yes, but it's a question of volume; the quantity of lines of code is huge, and a lot of work for a room full of chimpanzees randomly bashing keyboards (which is what seems to be the pwe web team) to deal with[/color]

If it takes 3-5 people to manage this webiste and do just fine with an absolute minimal budget.

How the hell can a near billion dollar company not fix their website's forum?

Actually, it's not quite that simple. Something broke when they changed the forum theme from the Tideborn to the Earthguard look, and they haven't yet figured out what it was.
