    We'll have to wait Sparkie's offical confirmation but I gonna go out on a limb and say no because Screenshots have always been the exception to that rule. And that rule has always been in place in their contests, so that in a drawing contest someone can't just submit some random picture they found on the net and claim it as their own, for example. PWI stock art, logo, promotional materials, etc have also always been fair game.

    Egg designed using photoshop, and power point. Depicts a scene of the Last Supper (PWI Style) with Jesus Panda Barb, and his 12 multi racial disciples. The supper takes place in the treasure room in the Flowsilver Palace. The image is centered in the middle representing the mortal realm, and a cool color representing heaven on the top, and a warmer color representing hell at the bottom of the egg, as a struggle between good and evil.

    These are all amazing, I'm pretty excited to start picking!

    I will announce winners in a bit, but as to the last question; Screenshots count, I just didn't want players going out and taking images created by someone else, such as art pieces, vectors, etc.

    Alright, after a lot of internal debating and office pacing, I have finally decided on the top 5. I just want to let you all know that this was extremely difficult because I had about 10+ that I wanted to pick, but could not! Anyways, drum roll please!

    Judging from the winning entries, everyone who took screen shots and used it in their entry were disqualified, because images in game is considered to be copyrighted by PWI. This should had been made clear and elaborated to the people participating in this event that screen shots should not be used. That is why a lot of good entries done by very talented Photoshop experts didn't win.

    How else can you explain the 2nd winner - simplistic as coloring an egg pink, with potshots, and slap on a rabibit that is copyrighted and that is so unprofessional colored in blue with white marks win?


    The 3rd winner uses a teddy bear - that is a screen shot of the all class pet in game Sir Cuddlesworth enlarged(Sparkie doesn't play the game so he doesn't know this to be a copy right image). And I am sure I have seen this and the orange background used in some news sales page already.


    All in all, I think this event was really bias and had unfair, unclear ruling, and judging experience.

    I dont think its fair anyways, I really worked hard on mine and other people Like the 2nd winner that took maybe less then 3 mins to do that wins.. I took atleast 30 mins and other people even more! yeah, i'm not perfect at painting but i still dont think its fair :( b:cryb:shockedb:angry

    It seems as though rules and instructions were thrown out the window - a template was provided, more than half the winners drew outside the template . . . if you're going to have a contest, please provide and follow the rules, especially when judging!!! The easter theme seemed not to count on one of the winners as well. I recommend an explanation of breaking the rules while judging or re-judge an additional 5 for following the rules!!!

    After reading all the comments it seems like its in everyones best interest to reassess the winners, dont take anything away from them but add 5 people that followed the rules, please consider making it right.

    I see a feable attempt at making it right occured, what about the template issue - I am an architect and when a template is provided the rules I work in are simple, follow the template/example - how can you justify a beautiful piece but not drawn to specifications as a winner, please try a little harder to review YOUR OWN RULES and make it right!! Prove that PWI can be fair and just.

    I was wondering what was the point of having a template when most where not using the template or the Easter egg? i was thinking from the example given that the work had to be done inside the Easter egg and nothing outside of it but most of the ones chosen where outside of the egg, maybe the rules should have been written more clearly >.< b:surrender

    All my vector art and screenshot images are genuinely my own (except for PWI logo). I can understand its hard to tell the difference sometimes especially when you're worried about copyright matters and the safer option would be to choose hand drawn images for originality. But in doing so, those who did not draw would have felt slighted. Perhaps next time this could simply be a drawing contest instead to make it easier on the judging and on contestants.

    Anyways grats to the winners. It's been fun creating the masterpieces and thank you Sparkie for organizing the contest. Please do keep more of such events coming. b:bye

    That's the thing, your comment already said you felt that people who use computer are putting less effort than drawing. That's what I meant by being biased like that, those who put effort in their digital artwork would feel slighted.

    Nevertheless, I'm not saying drawing isn't tough. In fact I love to draw but that's to individual's preference of course. Just that since 4/5 of the winners are drawings, it should be a drawing contest instead (in the future of course).

    Still I love joining in events like this so keep the contests coming! b:laugh

    Too bad the pose of the teddy doesn't match the one in the egg though.
    Regardless since the teddy is part of PWI you don't have to provide any evidence anyway, so why bother.
