Easter! [Winners Announced]

Easter is right around the corner, so I thought it'd be a good idea to get a little event going all of you!

The event is simple, go here and print out/download/copy+paste this Easter egg template: http://tinyurl.com/k4vuvc2

- Draw/color/paint/Photoshop/etc. something PWI related. This can be your character, the logo, or anything, so long as it relates to PWI.

- Sign it with your character name and server

- Take a picture of it or upload the image (imgur.com, photobucket, etc) and submit it to this thread!

Rules:

- Keep it PG. Nothing inappropriate, or you will suffer the consequences!
- You may submit up to 3 different pieces, however only 1 of them is eligible to win.
- Character name and Server MUST be on the piece. If it is not, you will not win.
- The event will end 12 NOON on 4/22/14. Anything posted after will not qualify.
- Prizes will be given out during that night's maintenance.

Prizes!

- There will be a grand total of 5 winners.
- All 5 winners will get a Snowball Pet Egg
- Top 3 winners will receive the Snowball Pet Egg and a Demon/Sage Event Card.

Alright, after a lot of internal debating and office pacing, I have finally decided on the top 5. I just want to let you all know that this was extremely difficult because I had about 10+ that I wanted to pick, but could not! Anyways, drum roll please!

Seriously an easter event on forums? Hardly anyone bothers with forums that would make this a worthy event. Get on the ball PWE.....other MMOs have regular new events all the time and all we get are the same **** one throughout the week...and the ones we DO get for special events are usually glitched. This is just a stupid idea in my personal opinion

Forum events used to be a lot of fun, and the last time this was done it was pretty successful. Also usually brings with it increased forum activity at least for a little while, which is always welcome. I wish the deadline was a little later but I'm always glad to see what the artists of this community can come up with. Many MMOs do both stuff online and in game, not sure why you think having both is so terrible. There's some events upcoming in-game as well.

Not sure if serious....if so you might want to put that on an easter egg like in the template he linked. Pro Tip: If you use the F9 key you can get rid of the UI.

I'd have to agree that this is pretty underwhelming. Though I never really expect much from pwi by way of "events."

It's kinda sad, really. Of all the MMOs I play, PWI is the only one that doesn't do many/regular seasonal or holiday events with actual in-game content or things to do.

Just as an example, a game that I won't name had a "harvest festival" that made you go to two separate regions of the map to play minigames that were actually *new* and *temporary* and consisted of *newly made graphics and coding* and was completely unique to other stuff already in the game. The final prize was a unique and time limited mount, just for fun.

Same game also had a new PVP dungeon for the xmas season where you were randomly sorted into teams and had to win 2/3 rounds and win or lose you got some tokens that could be exchanged for cool permanent prizes.

And what do we get in PWI for xmas? The same low-tier consumables dropping snowmen that we had in 2008 along with the lag they bring, and a month of double drops -- which I greatly appreciate, but let's be honest: double drops is not an *event.*

I don't mind contests/events on the forum, I think it's fun and can maybe bring more life to it.

What I don't like it's that I do understand it need to be PWI theme, but it should be also related to what it is, if it's for Easter than it should be Easter theme, a lot just did took a random SS that have nothing to do with Easter and did put it in the egg.

But I like the forum events/contests.
