[Important] 5 Year Anniversary Gifts Email Codes Issues

UPDATE 9/9/2013

Due to the overwhelming number of tickets received from the CS team we've had to come up with another solution to address the numerous issues regarding the codes.

We've decided to give everyone the opportunity to redeem a single code that will unlock all of the Tiered Anniversary Gifts. This code will only be available until the end of September and the code will expire around the same time the Anniversary Events end. This will also be the last year to get any or all of the tiered anniversary gifts currently available. We plan on using a different system next year. So please redeem the code when you get the chance.

With this in mind, next years anniversary gift will no longer be given out using a tiered system of gifts. Instead we plan on giving one BRAND NEW anniversary gift to ALL players who qualify. This will greatly reduce the confusion on who gets what and reduce the number of issues involved regarding the distribution of gifts.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and we hope you enjoy this massive 5 Year Anniversary Gift. We thank you all for your support and hope you continue to enjoy PWI.

    What about people who have important tickets already open? will this make those take longer to be replied to?

    No, tickets concerning 5 Year Anniversary Email/Codes are being prioritized differently.

    the problem isn't how the time is counted. it is that the rewards seem to be comming randomly, people are receiving the 5 year reward on accounts they only had for a year or 2 and some old accounts are receiving the 1 year reward. Something isn't adding up there

    Is it okay to wait a while before submitting the ticket? How long will the link be available?

    Im happy to get the mount I recieved, is it okay if some of us wait a bit?

    Might help get the bulk of people who may be disappointed squared away without flooding CS with tickets from people who arent really disappointed. Sounds awesome that Ill eventually get the fox. b:victory

    Thank you synchroze. But I sent a ticket just minutes before you opened this topic. So how long exactly does it take to get the right codes?

    And most important, what about the players who opened their gift box and got this Cosmos Pony thing, do they disappear?

    If one would sen in a ticket for missing a previous gift through this glitch, will they have to give up the gift they got instead? For example... If someone with a 4-year-old account would send in a ticket because they missed the snake and got the year-5 gift instead... Would they have to give up on the green Unicorn? Cause if that's the case, I'd rather just forget about the snake and keep my green Unicorn... f:ponder

    You can keep the 5 year one and request for the 4 year one that you missed out on ONLY IF that was the one that you were expecting to receive this year.

    synchroze, about that edited part of your original post. Where it says ''account name'' etc. Do we put those information to the *Question* part in ticket sending?

    i got my 5 year, 4 year, and 1 year codes. Rest where fash boxes. Out of the 6 fash boxes i opened, i got 2 full color matching sets, :D I'm happy, and i love my cosmos on my BM.

    Technically with the new time guidelines people were thought they were 4 year accounts are actually 5 year accounts.

    People who are receiving the 5 year packs are most likely getting them from people who just didn't want their pack and therefore handed them their code to redeem.

    Yes this will help expedite the process. Please remember there WILL be an influx of tickets so it may take several days before your code is sent to you. I want to apologize in advance for the wait time so please be patient.

    Cool~! And yeah, pretty much... Last year I got the Purple Fox (along with stuff from previous years) so it should be year of the snake for me now... f:laugh

    Oh and one more thing... The codes aren't bound by their accounts I think... I know someone who told me their email address expired so they couldn't receive the mail... I've bin told they used the code they got in the mailbox an alt was registered to and used it on their main account instead... Are there any specific rules on that? f:meh

    No. If you want to gift them to people or use on alts feel free to do so. Its yours to keep and yours to do with. Just know that the codes are only usable once per account and for one character only. CS has been instructed to not fulfill any request to transfer anniversary items to other accounts or characters. So please make sure to select the character and server when redeeming.

    Correct only 1 gift but 2 if you didnt receive the previous years but were supposed to receive it this year.

    Past 1 am here, I am really tired, so please forgive me and ignore my question if already answered. I posted my tickets for my 2 accounts before synchroze made the update to the 1st post. I hope this is of no great consequence?

    kinda loses its exclusivity doesn it

    Pwi could just put codes of mounts so people pick which one want at least i see it like that

    Account Name = Login Name

    That would have been something nice to have in the e-mail I thought they was bound to the account like most of the codes I get in my E-mail. I would have loved to put my unicorn on this account instead of my original

    I can't see how players would be able to sell 5 year anni. There will always be someone who wont trust. Like ''Give me code first then I give money'' or the other way around.

    Well i hope pwi learned somthing from this since they kinda ruined the anni........ next year anni wings for 6th year players nuff said. And dont use the special ed email code system ever againb:angry
