    whomever misses less wins!

Also, i find in an archer v archer fight, sage to be more deadly. take aim from max range, the demon is helpless.

Can't the demon just... you know... move forward two steps and stun... or use grace to dodge... or use shell to laugh at the hit.... or holy path/leap back enough that the skill interrupts (or forward to force damage penalty).... or use condor... etc etc?

Archer v archer depends on who the RNG happens to benefit more in regards to procs for crit and procs for evasion dodge.

Stupidly high crit rates and evasion numbers (I am looking at you condor) make it even more ridiculous.

Demon QS is basically GG. Similarly if someone manages to get stunned its basically GG.

It ends up mostly being antistun and luck. Very boring.

On topic: Yes, Horosho you are right.

Oh yeah did forget the topic.

Yeah Archer vs Archer is a battle of gear difference and luck moreso than skill. Archers in general are luck reliant, honestly.

Everyone wants a QS proc, getting stunned is basically game over, purge proc on R9 is one of those gambles you pray for while hoping it doesn't hit you, crit wars from the crit rates, stupid high evasion thanks to condor, etc. Whoever gets the stun/purge/qs proc/luck with evasion wins in most cases where there's no major gear gap and neither player is a complete idiot.

Thats just way too complicated. Now what you gotta do when sage take aim you at 34 meters is to leep 20 meters to the right (or left)... hence making the total distance between the two to be 39.5. The sage archer would then proceed to make a 30 degreee turn from his organial orientation and move 3.5 toward you to get in to his passive range of 34. With that you would counter leap back to your organial location... thus making the total distance between you and the sage to be 29.5. With that you channel an instance alacrity and proceed to follow it with an 1.6 quickshot. Allow an extra .5 for the optional quickshot follow shot to release. Follow that with a 2.1 stun arrow. Chase the stun arrow with an additional quickshot for a .75 chance of increase speed. Follow with regular shot for a .8 chance of kill.. otherwise stleath away.

Yea i was just thinking about the old before more and leaps stuff. aim low and u dont get sealed/stunned by it. leap/stealth.

However in NW, ive been finding i have lots of good 1 v1 fights with other r9/g16 archers because of the automatic defensive and hp buffs. When they purge you though, you die moment you get stunned or quickshottedb:chuckle

You're not supposed to use 'whomever' when it's the subject of its clause. I know it's tempting to use it to sound more educated but that backfires when you use it incorrectly.

I genuinely find that whisper shot and using lighting strike is the best in an archer duel since often the other archer anti stuns. I always try to make sure to use wings of grace after the other archer does. just cause it fcks their stun up and by then i can stun depending on how tanky that archer is.

    Sage quick shot helps too.

You could say every same class 1v1 is based on luck and procs etc.
really i think its more to do with reactivity and instinct. Not so much skill but more of using the right skills at the right time.

    thats my 2 pieces anyway

This is a game lol...lighten up, I've seen worser grammar then that ingame and on forums. And yes I know I should use worse, not worser but example of this being the internet and being able to talk however you want.

As for on topic, I been looking at the sage skills I been getting and I conclude that it comes down to a few things:

    Most sage or demon skills?
    Top key sage/demon skills acquired?
Gear grade/refinement/Sharding?(being g16 bow vs xbow vs slingshot all hit pretty damn hard)

You can speak however you want in reality too, but you'll be judged accordingly. Why would it be any different on an online forum? The fact that it's a game forum has no bearing on requiring proper grammar, diction, and syntax.

Unfortunately no. The object of the verb "goes" is the entire noun clause "whoever misses less". "Whoever" is still the subject of that clause.

You'd have to change that clause to something like.

Bah, you're totally right. As a rule of thumb, I always replace the clause with a pronoun, which I didn't in this case. That's my litmus test for proper usage.
