You'd have to change that clause to something like.
The victory goes to whomever the random number generator favors.
Lol are you an english teacher or something related IRL? People begin to forget all the small things like that over time after high school because we don't use it often for a great range of jobs that don't require such complex knowledge of grammar or simply they didn't care to learn it and rather slept in class a lot, as is the same with math. And as far as it mattering in real life, I need to perfect my knowledge of programming code, not grammar to knowing the smallest errors like what your pointing out. I tend to remember all the basic grammar rules, and occasionally make a typo such as then instead of than and don't notice it like in my other post earlier. That's what happens when your foruming and running lunar at the same time....b:laugh Oh and English is my 2nd language, not first.
What I find the funniest is, when people try to correct others who talk with a VERY strong accent and completely make a word sound like something else. Such as saying "hey all" where someone else might say "Hey yall" in a more southern accent.0 -
Whether you think good grammar or math is applicable to you is irrelevant. I know for a fact that I would never hire anyone who submits a poorly-written cover letter. That may not necessarily exclude someone from say, working at a fast food restaurant, but it does matter more than you'd think. More to the point, it makes no sense to write well in one context and poorly in another. "Excellence is an art won by training and habituation." I am not saying you need to write with legal precision everywhere, just don't claim that it's irrelevant when it very much is.
FYI, English is not my first language either.Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

Explains alot. People often care less about speaking their first language properly, in addition to learning it as a child causes bad habits to develop. While on the other hand, second languages that they learn later, proper grammar is enforced in lessons at a later age. Also second languages are often used as bragging rights.

That's very true from any first language you learn to second. Mine was Spanish, I came to USA at age 6 and everything here was English...schools being the main pressure to learn English. So I was forced to learn English properly to a basic level of understanding like this. But they didn't enforce every detail possible into being learned.0 -

I honestly have alot of respect for those who can speak multiple languages, as I myself, cannot achieve that as hard as i try to.
We are getting way off-topic though, i blame Decus, for initially correcting my grammar,[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Perhaps I am just too dumb to understand this thread anymore, but Asterelle was the person that initially corrected you. 'Twas not I. /o\ That was the point I was trying to make, albeit poorly.Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory
