Alt guilds on TW map :P

Should Alt guilds TW and own land? Should members/officers of 1 guild be officers/leaders of another TW guild? Should GM's suspend corruption in PWI or Let small groups of rich players make 2 or 3 guilds and take over the map? :P

This week lets talk about that XP

I have a question for ppl on other servers:
Do you have alt guilds of TW factions on the map bidding, owning land, and actually, how much land they own if there are any, since on HT we had a situation before last reset and during this TW season when 2 guilds had alt landlocked in order to gain more income and share the profits - while keeping other guilds that could wipe the alt guilds land locked etc.

Sure by the advanced rules its arguable if alt guilds bidding on TW map is legal, in most cases doesn't matter since the alt guild will be off the map soon after the map resets. However, in cases where small guilds cant even get on the map, or med size guilds that don't have strong enough gear - its very arguable to not allow 1 guild to have 2 guilds and occupy more land bypassing the TW system.

All Factions Must Have Independent Leadership
Any collaboration before, during, or after a Territory War that tries to circumvent the fair play of the system is prohibited. - very arguable, We can for sure say that alt guilds do not have independent leadership :P

Alliances
Alliances cannot fund directly or indirectly another faction to protect one of its own territories or that of their alliance members. How does this work? xD Alt guild as a rule is directly funded by main guild and Vice Versa.

Main reason of the question is, Should my guild bid with alts? So far we tried to keep the system fair, will GMs actually give some effort to abolish/ban the alt guilds that at the least have LEADERS AS MEMBERS OF MAIN GUILDs. ty

Do you seriously think they can find out who is an alt guild of who?

But seems bidding will be 1 big note later on, even so, when does it start to be too much? When 1 guild hast 3 guilds on map or ? And we arent talking about initial land grabbing where everyone can has a go :P

That funding rule means you can't place a fake bid on an allied guild that overbids a legitimate attacker with the purpose of protecting that land.

Alliances and alt guilds are allowed as long as they aren't bidding on each other's land with the purpose of protecting that land against attack. This also covers bidding in such a way so as to break up a 3 way attack across multiple days to make it easier to defend.

sure, we did ban 1 guild called enrage and their alts before for doing so, and you are right, effectively that is whats on power atm. But what the question is are essential implementation of bidding rules and TW system and for GMs to look more into it :P

On HL we had a top guild having a alt guild, but they ''got ganked'' as they said and lost one land and decide to ''retired''.

The top one guild was ally with the second top guild, i always though that is stupid the both top factions ally and gank other ''small dead'' guild and QQ they don't have fun TW.

I just think that all the alliance and alt guild ruin the TW, but ye like i said people don't see TW anymore as Territory War, but see it as $$$, people are happy to win a wined TW cause they got a land and $$$ they don't care at all that they didn't had a war, they all secretly wish that every TW was wine just to got more easy land/$$$.

I even saw someone from the ex-top guild of my server ask recently if the TW lands will give more money, but that guild was complaining about no fun TW, but when they heard TW must change the first thing they ask is about the money beside asking if there's change that can really bring back fun TW.

That's just sad that people do stuff for money and not anymore for the fun.

Vicious is number 1,

Zoo 2nd which is not an alt faction they may have at one point been once of QQme, but not anymore with all of that drama.

3rd is kind of a toss up between Valk, Wanted and QQme, QQme has the advantage of more members and more r9s but they all put up a good fight against one another so it's hard to say (without actually being there and witnessing it myself) who is really #3

Then we have 6-10th ranked factions which saddly aren't even on the map anymore (well Tao and Ave for now)

Maybe we'll see some smart bidding from 6-10 on 3-5 and see some good fights before reset who knows.

Vicious had an alt faction, but they got knocked off the map a month ago so really, what faction is it that is on RT map that is an alt holding lots of land?

b:laugh Looks like RT doesn't have the "alt" syndrone like other servers. Well, at least the 6-10 place factions on RT have had & might be able to continue to have good TWs for a week or 2 more. I think it's nice that we're about 4 weeks away from reset of the map and still have a fairly good mix on the map for this reset with 7 different factions on RT's map.

I'm quite sure that your faction has been dissabled to bid for 1 week because one of your members bid with an alt guild on your land that was being attacked. Should mention yourself besides enrage if you use examples. b:surrender

Anyways, back to the topic. The sentence above shows that gm's do put effort into it somewhat. Sad part is, probably that you most likely have to report it for them to notice. But with TW dying out, i don't see how gm's are even going to bother anymore.

Land locking your alt faction isn't going to be dissallowed. And to get your alt faction land locked, it actually takes effort and many many weeks to do so. Sure you get more profit out of safe land, but no action since you can't attack your own guild. Everyone on HT server knows about the lack of TW action that GD has. Fun tw > money

the gms answered this months ago, as long as there arent any fake bids going on and there are people there to fight and they arent bidding to keep lands held up and to block bids theres nothing wrong with it

you can have all your alts in separate factions and be a member of the other faction you are fighting...as long as a fight does go on and there is a chance of one or the other can win then its a legit bid

now if one side doesnt show, then be rdy for retaliation by the gms like has been done with other fake bidders in the past with people being banned

how would you know :P, two different leadership teams running each faction where no one is either a executor,marshal,director, or the leader in both...

My guild never fake bid, I got 3 day ban coz someone overbid on my land to get my guild banned eh..

I cant post GMs reply on here from my E-mail because it is not allowed, but if you pm me ingame i can show you.

What we did do on HT is ban enrage and karma members/leaders for fake bidding before - overbidding with 30+ Mil bids with 1 man guild or moving timeslots - like enrage alt bidding on enrage main XD

And it seem obvious that theres no big TW on our server for no1 guild because no2 is scared to fight.

On the other hand O.o no one can blame main guild for having alt guild owning land if GMs wont do much about it, since its not the 1st time. I am thinking to make 1 guild as alt to bid as well.

oh and for ones here that QQ about GDz / R9S3 and just trash out of hate and jeloussy go here to feel better and have the last kick in the butt ! (with exception for ones that just wanna have some fun before *october* come out :P )

I went to ur link mono, its as unintelligible as ur forum rants, and u say u will make an alt guild? Ur main guild is alts and cant even beat an alt faction, why dont u stick with making girls uncomfortable, i find its best to do what u know.

In my view alt guilds should not TW because they are not independent and they corrupt the fairness of TW system designed by developers > 1 guild 1 sovereignty 1 map color 1 cause.

But if at next map reset policy of PWI doesn't change (or new bidding rules aren't enough to keep fake guilds at bay, like 1 big note + min bids) - many more guilds will push their alts and situation will be worse. b:surrender

A solution could be that only a faction lvl3 can bid for TW.

Every alt faction that can hold land on its own I can think of off the top of my head is already level 3. So that changes... absolutely nothing.

Besides, getting a faction to level 3 isn't exactly expensive even if that weren't the case.
